Gotta admit that I completely copied your defence and it's been scoring me perfect defenses lol, I think this setup is way stronger than the infantry pasta. Subbed D!Fjorm for V!Myrrh and A!Micaiah for D!Micaiah which is a bit weaker but it still works because the terrible trio of CYL are so powerful. I'm loving Embla's renewed usefulness, with Great Talent buffs she's surprisingly lethal!

@@insxnemxnd3127 I didn't have A!Micaiah at the time. On the plus side sabotage is a way stronger debuff and she's the only unit holding up duo's hindrance

B!Alfonse is overwhelming regardless if on offense or defense. Being one of a very small pool of units that can reach 99 in a stat, and being capable of 99 in 3 stats at that after self buffs, he just becomes too much for any unit real quick. You flexing an unmerged B!Alfonse still being able to dominate just shows how strong he is just out the gate.

Tbh, anytime i see Alfonse i instant surrender. It still counts as playing so i get the daily rewards thing. At thi point, AR map is just too smalll

Al puts a lot of pressure to act quickly but he's a LOT more predictable than Felix. Honestly I think we need new AR structures more than we need new units; something that inflicts stall and isolation. It's just getting to be impossible to not have to deal with the entire AR-D team at once.

AR maps are especially too small now that we have Sigurd. With 1 pathfinder unit, Felix can reach 9 spaces, and Sigurd can reach 7 - so Gatekeeper isn't even really an issue

I...can think of an improvement, but I don't want to give anyone any ideas. The existence of multiple seasons means that AR SHOULD have some level of flexibility, and right now that's just not true; everyone wants to run the same handful of units all the time. It is a testament to how bad the power/complexity creep is that the "best" defense is using only one Mythic. It shows that you stopped caring what happens if you actually do lose. Again, never thought I'd say this, but I think Summoner Duels S is the best PVP mode right now. It's the only way you find any variety.

Actually since you're "Mr. Defense" I would love to see you do a vid (or collab with Feholgy) on the best defense maps and what comps would be best for said maps. May be a hella long vid but it'd be informative and fun!

Yes, Freyr will protect Robin from Elimine. Also Duo Fjorm doesn't really need Hardy Bearing on offense for bonus Season because of how much speed you can stack in AR with mythic buffs and summoner support and Seteth.

Bro, I followed your steps with my own twicks and got a perfect defense this week. Last weeks have been also perfect or near perfect. Good time to be focusing some resources into AR-D. I'm looking forward to see how you integrate E!Sigurd and his ring next season too

I like the evolution of your defence, I basically copied the layout of your one with Alfonse as the lead with just a few unit changes and got almost perfect defence every week since

Tacho, 12-0 Def week this week for me. Similar layout inspired by yours but completely different units. Shield fighter is the most broken skill introduced into the game in a long time thats all ima say. I am a huge ARD guy so its had me really invested in feh again now that defs are viable! I always hate the periods in Feh when ARD has no options like earlier this year.

I actually just don't care about staying in VoH anymore. I just let my opponents win and use auto dispatch, with some matches from t23, its enough to get back into VoH for me, but I won't try anymore.

The game mode really requires you to have merged up mythics. There were some weeks where I lost so much lift from defense that having a near perfect offense week still wasnt enough. Sadly my highest merged offense mythics are all +1. Which is very lame when my defense mythics have more merges😑

AR-O has had it too good for too long. Def teams are finally strong. However I think they're a little too strong. I ended up losing all 7 ladders, lost the 8th battle, received -150 lift on defense, and ended the season at T37. AR is literally unplayable without 2 +10 mythics for each season. Loki/Embla with Brave Felix is such a stupid combo to fight on AR-D. Timerra was such a disappointment she had a 50/50 match-up vs Felix, it was so dumb. This week was so painful I literally lost 6 ladders on Tuesday. Edit: Also not only are Embla/Loki with Felix such a annoying combo but any team that has Attuned Micaiah, Nergal, Tina, Brave Robin, Duo Fjorm, or Emblem Celica on it are so ugly to fight it's literally no fun. Especially with all the debuffs they spread like viruses with nothing to cleanse them unless you have Attuned Micaiah because Freyr is AR-D locked. But since I don't have Attuned Micaiah there's nothing I can do vs debuffs. AR-D is about to get worse with Emblem Sigurd running around. Don't even get me started on Heirun. The worst designed unit in the game and probably the 2nd best unit in the game. What a terrible creature to fight against

If I had Brave Robin, I could theoretically run this exact team 😂 but where's the fun in copying another person's strategy? I got very unlucky this week but I didn't get kicked out of vault so that's a win in my book.

Can we talk about Brave Seliph being somewhat of a soft counter to Brave Felix? Seliph prefers Mystic Boost to upkeep his built-in Miracle, which also cancels Felix’s adaptive damage. Since Seliph has a really good DEF stat and built in Excel, its difficult for Felix to kill Seliph. Felix needs to move a bunch of spaces for his kit to really pop off, and Seliph gains more stats the more spaces his oppenent moves. Making him a potent threat.

He'll work a lot better now. I was hesitant about running him earlier when Felix was a bonus unit because Felix just had an overwhelming speed advantage back then. But now, not quite as much.

so running a very similar defense but because i don't have frjorm i just don't run a duo unit with the only loss being from something i already knew could be an issue and how to fix it, duo hindrance is kinda no longer relevant. even fjorms insane duo skill is basically pointless as you still have to survive to do anything of use with that. maybe just no one is running duo skills as duo hindrance exists so i haven't seen the worst you could do but when i think about it i don't see a duo skill that is actually so good you would want to prevent it

No, you definitely still want Duo's Hindrance if you can get it. Bride Micaiah, Spring Chloe, Nabata Igrene, etc. all have absurdly powerful Duo skills that can turn units into tank busters. Not to mention the added pressure on Sharena and Gullveig preventing them from just instantly accessing their free action

Most teams I face like this are very tankable with Caeda and some smart positioning, but alfonse makes that quite tough 😆 You need scowl and red nuke I guess

What kind of support do you give your Caeda? Everytime I used her vs Felix she would die no matter what I did. I even gave her mystic boost to nullify his hexblade effect and he still doubled and killed.

@@pigeonleader 3 mythics + gatekeeper with infantry pulse & E!Ike for Breath of life support. Caeda has Marth ring, GLR, Atk/Spd unity, DC sacred seal. Unity is the key when you face Robin & micaiah (debuff & panic). She usually gets like +70 to +90 Atk/spd in combat, Felix gets one shotted 😂 Try to position out of micaiah’s range, if not she’ll make a HUGE dent lol

your defense is very strong against tanking strategy, you think it's not strong because you probably use galeforce teams in your offense. Would you still say it's not strong against tanking strategy?
