Nasto, don't move into the house until the ceiling board is intact. Also, get electricity and another big tank and fill it with water so that you don't have to worry when it doesn't rain often..Likewise place some regular plastic drums at the side of the house where excess rainwater flows from the roof and that you could use for watering of the plants.. Very inspiring and interesting story of your lives and the struggles. This goes to show hard work, and perseverance is the key to success. Hey Nasto and Miss Fle, regarding the house. Please wait for the ceiling to be completed, as it will be very messy for you both. You have a generator but definitely the ceiling is important to finish. Once it’s finished and the shower completed, then you can start bringing the furniture in and complete your furnishings. One step at a time. I don’t think there is any reason to rush. That’s my suggestion 🙏🏾 The slasher is very effective, maybe when it’s cooler, in the evening, it can be done, or very early morning 😅. If you need to move plants, or trees, do it earnestly before the wall is completed. Don’t let any further plaster/cement catch them catch them. Move them to the most appropriately spot, so they can flourish. I think- It’s A good idea to come together as a community to get water a point for all the compounds. Love the landscaping and upkeep of your property already! Lovely home! Lovely couple! Lovely love story. As I listen to your experiences together I am reminded of my parents' story. My parents met as teenagers and were together for 72 year until my mother passed away in 2022. They told stories such as yours about how they started out in the beginning. They were very different people. My mother very reserved and religious and my father neither of those lol. Growing up, I never heard them argue. I was always impressed by how they managed to make things work. They started young together with nothing more than understanding and great partnership. They made a large family, traveled together and acquired dreams houses and more. Seems to me that Nasto and Miss Fle have that same magic formula. I can only imagine great things for your future. Please remove all those pieces of metal as you go about slashing the grass. If someone steps on them they could be hurt, and might contract tetanus. Complications of tetanus can be life threatening.

People have different tastes in building and otherwise. I was wondering what Mayuguno was doing too un til I saw another bedroom and bathroom being built to also facilitate the drum on top which will allow easy water flow throughout the building. I'd say the man is a genius. I didn't care for the small bedrooms. I love the openness and airiness of Nasto's house which will be ideal for him and his family. I also like Nasto's clean compound and his wall.

You know what, I think they can move in as soon as the ceiling boards are up. I say so because installing ceiling boards a very messy; dusty application, and that would not be good for their lungs as well as their furniture. If they waited that long, then another few weeks won't hurt. Think about it!! No electricity; no windows; bathroom not ready; kitchen cupboards; closets, etc. They can wait.

My advice to you is that you should use the grass that you cut in your compound to mulch your plants/trees or even your vegetables. This will prevent evaporation of water (meaning less watering) and also suppress weeds from growing. Don't burn that grass, use it to decrease your chores!!

@Nasto Bro.... you people of Nyabohanze have a lot and lots of water.. You're blessed bro with abundant water.. It's only that you don't know how water is a problem out here.. in our culture and language we say that... A monkey lives in a sugar plantations all his life without knowing how sweet the sugar cane is... Meaning you have it but you're unaware of it's importance or use or how to harness it... Just buy 2 or three 10,000 litres tank and you're done.. Harvest that rain water and trust me you will never ever lack it. Use it for cooking and drinking or even shower... Ground water should never be mixed with rain water and advice Mayugno not to... And also if everyone is sinking boreholes everywhere and anywhere then the rules of nature has it that the water table gets depleted and therefore for you to get it, you have to get even deeper and soon you realize that even you'r depth "No matter how deep it is", will still not be enough.. You can't compete with nature but you can move around it.. You are also blessed with a natural river flowing year in year out.. Construct with the help of your community, a water tower like the one at Mayugno's at the Riverside.. Put a big tank on top of it and "pump up water".. Connect the water to your homes, as it will freely flows with the help of gravity.. Use river water to water your farm and for construction... That's what other people are doing out here.. I don't want you to complain again about water Bro .. Complain about any other things but not water Bro....😂😂😂 Another thing I've noticed.. when putting up a concrete wall remember to provide provisions for ground water to get out from your compound otherwise the compound will be clogged with rain water and it will weaken or at worst bring down your perimeter wall.. Provide a lot of louvers at the basement of your wall to drain excess water from your compound.... Otherwise you're doing a wonderful job.. Say Hi to Miss Fle.."Wonderful couple you are"..
