There's a few out there thats really decent and some even better with some mods. IF you already have HDZero, then I'd suggest the Mobula7 Freestyle. But if you dont, then go with either Flywhoo Flylens20/25, BetaFPV or Happymodel mobula8 03. If ur getting a pavo from BetaFPV... get the pavo 25(it flies better)

I think the 2S is a sweat spot for whoop with VTX of 10g so i think the BetaFPV meteor65 Pro o4 will be too heavy for 65mm. The Mubula7 o4 or Meteor75 vs HDzero 1S it’s the only build make sense to me. You have try both of them, it’s big investissement to buy googles from one or the others brand thanks to sharing your experience to us it really help to do the right choice.

Hope the 04 lite gets an update where it works in race mode with the g2 and integras. Had two in the cart the other day for my 5" racers which are currently analog until I saw that it did not. I'm trying to get back to only carrying one set of goggles around. How does the field of view seem to be for racing?

for the 5" u might want to get the pro as the lite takes power of up to 3S. Unless your FC has a 9v output, then it makes more sense. The pro would have a better FOV on 4:3 aspect ratio. It can be switched. Im quite amazed with it. It has lots of interchangable things that other companies dont do.

hmm... good question. I usually fly to about 3.5v or 3.6v. It hasnt shut down at that voltage yet. But to what I know, on tests by Mads Tech and JB they'e tested it to shut down around 3.4v. I personally havent tried it yet.

Im from a racing background, so for me, I'm more used to Analog or HDZero, so I can actually feel that latency.

Do you have any problems with the overheating of the o4 lite? By the time you try to update the onboard elrs rx, the o4 lite is already overheated. And this is in winter 25 degrees F. Imagine in upcoming summer 70-90 degrees weather. The o4 lite will overheat in flight for sure.

Why the recordings are always ~2 min max? Is it that bad with power consumption? I've heard that O4 Air even in idle is much more power hungry than WS mini, but is the difference that huge during recording? As a reference, Moblite7 with WS can easily break 5 min on a single battery.

Hey Bro, was waiting for this review. Looking forward to getting one. That frame is going to be used for some more 45mm prop 2s builds. This seems a new 1102 motor. I have the previous 1102 10000kv motors on 45mm props with 2s. They are efficient as hell. Power is okay, but could be more. They only pull 11A max with tri blade. If these motors are similar, then on bi blades you have a little less punch and probably never draw more than 10A. Dont tell HM, but betafpv has a canopy that looks more promising 😅 incl dampening agains jello.

The big flaw of O4 is the FOV. Too narrow for a whoop. It's really good if you want to do not pro cinematic. But I miss too much the widest FOV of the O4 Pro/Walksnail/Analog systems I already own
