My favorite part is Kendrick dancing with his family in a older home with family photos on the wall and plastic on the sofa. It symbolizes that Whit has been with him from the beginning. They have roots and history. Her c-walking is a throw back to the fact they from the same hood and culture. K-dot will buy all the real estate he wants anywhere in the world his girl and their kids are from Compton and they won't forget their roots or culture.

What's also interesting is when Whitney was dancing, Dot was just mostly sitting down letting her do her thing. I'm pretty sure when those allegations were made abt her, their kid, and Dave, she was mad. Dot sitting down, letting her do her thing was the equivalent of a husband letting their wife speak for herself. They don't do social media, which I commend them for. So this is a way for her to show us what's up without ever having to speak out. What a rebuttal.

Wow! At one point, Drake had everyone outside of the culture feeling entitled through him, but now that he's been humbled-and rightfully so-they're learning a lesson about respecting and not misappropriating a culture they aren't intrinsically connected to. Im a 42 year old white dude that grew up in an all white town of only 5k people in the midwest. Even in our environment we all grew up on Pac, Big, Bone Thugs, snoop, dre, wu tang, Eazy, and countless other rappers from both east and west coast (and dirty south south). There were 2 things you needed to be cool in my hick town, know every word to Eddie Murphys Delrious stand up and it was already like 15 years old and every word to the boyz in the hood. In the last 16 years I don't even listen to rap anymore because it's not what I remember true rap to be. KENDRICK to me is by far the best rapper of this generation!!! He single handedly brought me back into rap with his sound and lyrics. Appreciate this man because he's an ALL TIME GREAT!!! I still constantly look for newer music so I'm not some (back in my day everything was better) type dude. I also like Denzel Curry, JID, obviously the god Eminem himself but it's so hard to find truly great music in all genres in the last 15 years because it all molded together. Country is mostly pop, rap is mostly pop there's just not much of a distinction between artists or genres. Every rapper for the last 15 years proudly uses autotune and for whatever reason that popular. To me K dot will go down as one of the greatest rappers in history

@paulanicolethomason7252 for real i lived in a town that was actually 4500 people total and surrounded by farm land in southern Illinois. Literally didn't have a black person in our town but there were 2 things EVERYONE KNEW AND LOVED and it was West coast rap and Ediie Murphy Ran and delirious 🤣🤣🤣 We could all recite every word to Eddie's two standups and listen to nothing bit rap. Bone was probably the most popular and this was before crossroads came out and everyone got on it. We got so deep we were listening to BONE ENTERPRISE as like 12 years Olds. To this day the vast majority of rap fans still don't know that Bone thugs was originally Bone ENTERPRISE. It was s ome weird glitch in the universe. We would habe house parties on huge farms surrounded by cattle, trucks and 4 wheelers and the ONLY thing you heard always blaring was most west coast gangsta rap. LMAO talk about a weird occurrence

I'm a middle aged white woman from Georgia. Kendrick Lamar is the Goat. I recognize what this man just did for his culture and I know this was bigger than any beef, any troll, any record. He made a statement and as a woman who knows what Tupac meant to the world, and when Tupac was Huge, he said one time, he will open the eyes for the one who in the future, carries on his message, not the exact words but same meaning. Kendrick Lamar bringing whitney out, in a wife beater, to C Walk, goes beyond anything I've seen in the last 20 years. That's the greatest troll moment since the internet began. The red and blue on the shirts, uniting two groups who hate each other, man, this is some shit, myself, can't understand all the meanings it has for the people who it is meant for, but, I sure do love to see it. Genuinely do.

we just gonna forget Kendrick lied about an entire hidden daughter existing? Or all the times he lied to Whitney about marrying her or the times he cheated? He’s manipulative and forced her to maintain a family image for years. Just like diddy and Cassie

He may be nominated for song of the year and record of the year but they will give it to a white artist in the end like they do every year. The symbolism throughout this video is CRAZY.🔥 The owl pinata, doing adolescent schoolyard hop-scotch on the “A-Minor” line, K-Dot and fam hitting the C-walk, the caged owl…. Aubrey is cooked as a wanna-be Hip-hop artist.🔥 Aubrey is pop karaoke.

It's so funny how Kendrick accuses Drake of being a culture vulture when Kendrick uses generational black trauma and gang violence to sell his music. He didn't even do anything for his community until Drake called him out for it. Also if he's such a real black man, why is he living in NYC ? Why not live with the blood brothas in Inglewood?

The owl part is soo perfect, I feel nauseous for drake. The way it almost cowers and never takes its eyes of him as he walks away all big shouldered. A clear sign of fearful respect. And then, more importantly, finally looks back at us, at the culture, frozen, awaiting judgement. Dude it is PERFECT. my God.
