The problem is he kept being given different roles because he was willing to do it. He went from a striker, inside forward to a touchline winger to even playing wingback at times. His performance levels dropped but he was being graded differently. He would score and people would say he was still playing bad. He would play good but not score then people would complain he didn't score. Just a sad situation and I hope he goes abroad and enjoys football again.

Now that I think about it, ole plays a large role in the destruction of martial, rashford and shaws bodies. Not to mention Bruno’s up and down form (even though I do think the way bruno plays football plays a part) and how Maguire gets injured more frequently now. Our best players from the ole era are now aside from Bruno, completely broken.

Clearly spent a season or two playing through injuries and not recovering properly under Ole then was in ETH jail, now he doesn’t fit anywhere for Amorim. I think a clean start is best for both sides. Sad as it never worked out how it was supposed to but United will go on without rashford and, believe it or not, another ‘rashford’ will come from the academy again.
