I respect this young man's honesty by not watching certain players in their prime 1) Patrick Kluvert in tier 5 is a mockery to Football lol First touch, dribbling in tight spaces, link up play and finishing At 19 coming on in the last 5 mins to break the deadlock (Ajax V Millan) Championship league final There is a reason why Patrick Kluvert was preferred in important games for Holland than Van Nistelrooy ( who superior ratio)!but Kluvert was the better all round striker/player Kluvert should be tier 2 2) Adriana was a quality player but not Tier 1. Only comparison to R9 was he was Brazilian big and strong and looked like him from a distance..Yes could dribble and had pace but nowhere near R9 level. Tier 3( being generous) time was to short 3) Romantic view on Forlan . Likeable and good player..him and berg ranked to high 4) Etto over Drogba ( you should know this by now) 5) Maybe do another list 1990 to 2024.... R9 still be no Goat But a discussion could be made about Romario..( so underrated)one of the best players in history George Weah ( Who was the original big man with Pace, dribbling ability...that could play wide.. attacking midfield..any where lol Overall the list is good

You do realize the list ain’t purely on ability and tbh I’ve never felt anything watching lewandowski other than his 4 vs Madrid and 5 vs Wolfsburg. In the CL for Bayern he was extremely underwhelming as well. Benzema 2022 season alone had such a special feeling to it

I think it's important to acknowledge what makes a striker more dangerous. You could argue Cavani , Suarez or even a Michael Owen is a better finisher than Haaland as they arguably all have the ability to finish a wider variety of chances , but they're not more dangerous as strikers given how most chances can come about on average and how teams can create the most basic of chances. People often say things like, put Sancho at City or Barca and watch him become one of the best wingers in the world.... it's not always about systems, it's not just about some fancy highlights, it's the basics, hunger, body balance, vision, kicking style, weaker foot ability etc.. What annoyed me with Rants is how he defended Martial so much, the guy had 2 finishes, the Henry far corner curl or the dink. He hardly ever crossed, I don't think he even looked to cross, he wanted the quick 1-2s and a fancy shimmy... yes he can do that better than Rashford but does that make him more dangerous?? Now don't get me wrong, that doesnt mean I rate Klose or Inzaghi or anything, both have their clear strengths (tenacity, patience, acceleration, agility) but they're not dangerous enough in most situations because they lack physicality. Prime Haaland is probably the most dangerous striker the world has ever seen and that's based on 5 main things. His hunger, his composure/confidence, his decision making, his upper body strength and his shot power/accuracy. You can be the most technically beautiful striker like a Benzema, Crespo, Cavani or Suarez or a sly fox in the box like a Klose or Inzaghi etc but if you make the wrong decision off the ball or on the ball or can't use enough physicality then casual football fans don't often see the issue, they might just say oh great defending, great keeping, where was the support etc or even say "yes that was positive play, we've got a corner cmon". Where some strikers excel is doing the basic things in a very dangerous or powerful way and that's what makes them the most dangerous overall. I'm not sure I've ever seen Haaland do an outside of the foot pass or shot, his right foot is probably really iffy, at times he looks clunky and cumbersome but in his prime he's arguably the most dangerous striker we've ever seen because of how easy it is to get him to score. It feels a bit like cheating almost, but you can't deny that he's in the conversation for being the best striker we've ever seen.

On pure ability Anelka is Top 5 easily. People forget he was that striker from France in late 90s. While Henry was holding bench for Juve, he was already making career for Arsenal and Real. Drogba way too high, he was good at what he did but limited overall, nowhere near the likes of Lewandowski, Eto‘o and Raul. Vieri fair enough you didn‘t watch him, but normally should be Table 2 as well.
