Great Video fooster ( as always ). if you hunt an animal and kill it with your clan, you can use the carcasses for more than 1 "round" of meat and bones, just use the stone on the carcass a second and even a third time, you can also use these dry bush/stick barriers to trap animals i am pretty sure, i do not know exactly how it works with larger animals ( Hippo, Elephant, Rhino etc ) but i am pretty sure it works fine with other animals, just find a way to lure them into an already consturcted fenced area and be ready to close it

Fun fact: The largest prehistoric elephant of all time, was called Palaeoloxdon Namadicus better known as the Asian straight tusked elephant. It was around the same height as a giraffe, and Nat geo estimates it to be around 20 tons. It was the largest land mammal to ever walk the earth

True, but remember about scale - Ardipithecus, which he just achieved a couple of episodes ago, was still only 4 ft. tall walking upright. It's hard to judge it visually from the game clues.

Hey Fooster, Did you know that in Mist Survival, if you press the + key on the numeric keyboard three times fast it will open a cheat menu where you can get any item in the game, I would LOVE to see you make a series where you can make the biggest and best base you can! What you mentioned about herding an animal off and slowly chasing it down is pretty much how humans evolved and hunted! Humans aren't very fast compared to many other animals, but we top the chart in endurance running. Its theorized that early humans would hunt large prey by isolating an animal and chasing il it was too tired to run.

Well rooster about the otters. The holding hands thing comes from sea otters! They do it not to drift away from one another. Adorable little fellas, sea otters have also been observed doing very non consensual things to baby seals, sometimes to death. There are always two sides to something.

I've been waiting for this. Finally a streamer playing this game, and figuring out they can take a scouting buddy to carry something useful, like an extra sharpened stick, or something to heal broken bones. Can even swap apes if health is low. Just handing 1 ape items is faster than using mimic. Of course, 2 scouting buddies could carry babies or just be an extra pair of hands to carry meteors or special items like bones back to camp. It also avoids another baby rescue mission if you use a scouting party of 2 or 3 apes. Every other streamer just lone wolfs it solo for the entire gameplay. Using a basic feature in the game to make things like scouting easier with a back up ape shouldn't be too hard to figure out, yet this guy is the 1st to do it that I have seen. A large party is too hard to monitor if their stamina differs too much. Even snipers have evolved from solo to small teams. Minimum spotter and shooter. I also like that he sets up mini base camps like forward operating bases. It's an easy way to set a checkpoint if you want to move entire clan to a new settlement. Can store useful items at camp, like grinding stones and meds. Right? Just because the characters are apes, doesn't mean players have to role play as an Ape that cannot plan a simple scouting expedition. Good stuff. I like that this guy reads comments and is appreciative of his audience. I also like that he genuinely enjoys this game. It's good content, and his edits and commentary lets us know we didn't miss much with stuff not shown. Really good stuff. I binge watched the 1st 13 parts in 2 days and it was really a cool hang out. Thanks. Hope you get big success soon, and stay healthy, bro.
