The heart and soul of America. You guys have to at least do chores regardless of the weather. As a kid I lived in North Dakota. I delivered newspapers and more than once got frostbitten ears doing so. The papers had to be delivered. These days, I don't wash my car until it is at least 70 degrees. Thanks to you and all the strong men and women who bring food to our tables. You are amazing.

15 degrees to you guys looks to be a walk in the park. I honestly do not know how you do it. It was 17 here in south TX about a week ago and I was feeding some cubes and a couple of round bales and thought I was going to freeze to death! lol Hats off to you two guys and the job you do every day no matter the weather

Hey guys, I live in South Carolina, moved here from SE Pa 43 years ago. A few weeks ago I went snowmobiling in West Yellowstone Montana (a bucket list thing). We landed in Boseman on a Saturday and it was -33f degrees. Believe me, I'm not trying to take anything away from you by saying that. 15f degrees is cold, man it's cold. I personally think that you folks that live up there are crazy but deserve our appreciation. to willfully live there, work there you and provide for our country. I have a whole new respect for you folks. I couldn't do it. Thank you for what you do. and for god's sake try to stay warm.

Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting. Cold weather makes everything harder to do that is for sure. My compliments to Cole and Brian for the efforts they go to, to make sure that their cattle are bedded down good for the cold weather. The Sonne’s are excellent herdsmen for sure!!!!!!!! Appreciate the care they give their cattle. Handling the gate, been there done that. Kind of a boring task but is important to contain the cattle where you want them. Good job on the feed lots and holding pens. You have them looking good. The bulls like that fresh bed do. About it I guess. Thanks for everything Sonne’s. You both take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve. Loved you comments Brian while holding the gate. Got a few chuckles out of them.

Down here in rural adel iowa a few weeks ago we had 27” of snow in 4 days with a blizzard….anyway we got snowed in for 3 days because of the drifts and on day 4 the county came by in a payloader thinking he was gonna blow right through the drifts and the drifts were 8-10ft high across the road and the drifts pushed his loader right into the ditch!! 😂. It was funny to watch but in the end we were still snowed in.! Luckily the daughter’s boyfriend is a farmer and he came over with his tractor and scooped the drifts away and dug us out!! Thank god for farmers!!! Great videos as always!!

Brian your comments about gate control reminded me about my grandfather at church one Sunday talking to an old farmer about me I was about 8 or 9 at the time and he stated well you now have someone to help you when you're hooking up to equipment but just remember it won't be long until you will be the one who will be dropping in the pins it seems as though it was only a few years till that happened it was only about 70 years ago

While snow can be a pain for everything that needs to be done. I hope you guys get enough moisture in the ground before spring for the crops to grow. Its got to be easier to get the H2O as snow, that will slowly seep into the ground, than a bunch of rain later in the year that will run off instead of staying put

As a kid I would be the gate meiser. I hated that job simply because I knew there would be hell to pay from my dad if/when a cow got out. We were out in west Texas so if one got out we'd have to chase them through the oaks, and that was an all day affair. I used the run/jump scare tactic to keep them away. Probably could've benefitted from a slappy.
