Its great to listen to someone who talks sense, I remember sowing spring barley with a one pass seed drill all day and late into the night and falling asleep at the steering wheel time after time.

Fantastic video - if you are for harvesting - and machines. And I am. 30 mins may seem long time watching harvesting from a combine, but you speak like a prof reporter in the field about technical issues and challenges by tame a combine. The production of the video looks experienced. Combination of clips from the field and from the cockpit - just makes the video even more prof. Great work.

That is probably one of the longest serving wheat verities going, we grow it too every year along with all these new ones, but more often than not good old 'Graham' comes out with the better yield (according to the yield monitor)... We had the same straw smashing problem on that same day, although I assumed it was our rotary and had we had a walker machine we could have kept going... we stopped mid-afternoon and then started again 9am Sunday whilst it was still cold and dewy...We ran our concave/drum more open this season than any previous. Drilled half of our rape so far.

As I watch you've got 16k subs on the nose! Nice one 👍 You'll soon be done and be bored over winter mate 😉😂. I've not heard of anyone over here conventional baling then gathering up with a sledge after!? Oooo I can feel the pain of stacking them all in the barn 😢😢

Hi Andy, just watching some of your videos from last year and you've mentioned your brother, where does he farm? Cheers

Hello Peter Smith He is self employed and works for several different farms in the area when they need him. Thanks for watching 👍

Great video andy, glad it was good weather for you to get going in the wheat, 30ft is quite big enough I think, who's in the grain store if dad's carting? Thought them little bales would be baled with a flat eight sledge.

Layton Phillips Haha he was doing both! Multitasking 😂 we were in the field right next to grain store 👍
