I love Nas and Jay-Z. Both top 5 for me without a question. But Nas to me is the goat. I understand the politics behind people not wanting to pick a side. But I'm kinda suprised that Large Pro didn't say Nas. But more disappointed in AZ more than anything.

@@ebozion32 yea bro. Nas put AZ on. Only reason why AZ got the record label deals coming in cause Nas gave him the spotlight as he was the only feature on there besides Nas’ father.
@ebozion322 ай бұрын
@killmatic8428 I understand these other artists not wanting to mess up potential business in the future. But Large Pro has an iconic history producing Nas & being from Queens, you would think he would give the nod to Nas. And similar with AZ, being put on by Nas and making classics is like the home team not rooting for you! Maybe they feel Nas could be doing more for them because they've seen how much he's elevated over the years. But my thing is Nas has really made them stay more relevant tbh. You see how quick and confident Havoc from Mobb Deep said, "Nas, of course." ? That's someone who's holding no grudges or has no underlying issues. But maybe AZ really feels that way, or it could be because him and Jay-Z are from Brooklyn. I just can't see how Large Pro can't call it Nas because he's such a hip-hop purest, and we all know Nas is the better lyricist. It be like that sometimes, though.
