@each1teach1academy43 Jay-Z has You Must Love Me, A Week Ago, Coming of Age pt 1 and 2, Meet the Parents, God Did, etc. I'm not from NY, and don't care for how Nas and other decided to start rapping. Rewind is a gimmick and I saw the movie Memento, so I'm good. Lyrical Exercise lyrics are much better than Nas wher he's supposed to be a gun (Gave You Power I believe)

@killmatic8428 I understand these other artists not wanting to mess up potential business in the future. But Large Pro has an iconic history producing Nas & being from Queens, you would think he would give the nod to Nas. And similar with AZ, being put on by Nas and making classics is like the home team not rooting for you! Maybe they feel Nas could be doing more for them because they've seen how much he's elevated over the years. But my thing is Nas has really made them stay more relevant tbh. You see how quick and confident Havoc from Mobb Deep said, "Nas, of course." ? That's someone who's holding no grudges or has no underlying issues. But maybe AZ really feels that way, or it could be because him and Jay-Z are from Brooklyn. I just can't see how Large Pro can't call it Nas because he's such a hip-hop purest, and we all know Nas is the better lyricist. It be like that sometimes, though.

@@ALexander-ue3kj 4:44 is better than ALL 6 of them albums AND it had more impact. In fact, Jay's 'God Did' verse had more impact than those albums loool. Lastly, Jay rapped better on that Jay Electronica album than Nas did on all 6 of those albums. Nas is not elite anymore lyrically. He's good. Just not elite. Stop trying to make this a close race. Jay has lapped Nas many times at this point and you know it lol

"Nas educates me. He makes me smart"... That is exactly the difference between them. Nas schools people on every album.
