Because sadly They debut during a time where Korea and alot of kpop fans turned there backs on yg groups there seniors were ok bc they already had solid fan bases but treasure was fetus. Basically during all of there rookie years all they had were teumes I'd say it wasn't till jikjin that they finally started gettingsupport outside of there fandom and since then have been steadily growing in popularity. I really think Treasure will pull a Big Bang and blow up world wide soon the way big bang debut in 2006 but got REALLY POPULAR INTERNATIONALLY IN 2012 WITH FANTASTIC BABY which I think is why big bang became one of those rare kpop boy groups that remained chart monsters until the end BECAUSE it took time for them to get crazy big so they retained alot of young fans and loyal fans because it didn't happen fast like most big4 groups it was earned through years of hard work and great music

Hyunsuk is the main lyricist and composer of the song, he actually said smth like kingkong was written thinking of how kingkong would feel love so he went to exhibitions and read books about love. Smth like trying to not see kingkong only as a beast but someone who is in love deeply and has been persecuted for trying to reach their love. at the same time understanding how a beast would actually feel if they fall in love. (?)

I really like watching your reaction and interpretation as an international fan. There are really a lot of things that intl fans wont interpret well from lyrics because we dont have a deep knowledge about korean language and its depth to korean context. I always feel that with SB19's international fans (i'm filipino).. there's a context in their lyrics that filipinos understand well but have to be explained to intl fans. So I really love listening to you guys because it makes me understand the artistry in treasure's lyricism!
