kim's quitting scene is so beautifully acted by rhea seahorn & patrick fabian. howard starts the meeting terse and grouchy expecting to lose a valuable employee to a rival company, but his demeanor changes 180 when kim explains she's going out on her own. his respect for her shoots up 1000x and he sees in her not just an underling , but himself living the dream that he gave up to carry on the HHM legacy. his parting words are "he knew he could expect more from her". such an understated turning point in their character relationship.

I actually have a story that was inspired by what Jimmy did to the documents: So back in 2018 I was working at a hospital but was hired through an agency and was on a 3 month probation period till getting hired through the company . While I was on probation I had to fill out an hour sheet and get it signed by my supervisor every two weeks then send a pic to my recruiter so I could get a paycheck . Anyway one week I got sick and called out for 3 days; I only told my supervisor, not my recruiter .. So what I did was got my signature and cut out that portion of the paper, filled out a blank sheet with the 3 days filled in and glued the signed portion onto the new sheet, sent a pic to my recruiter and got paid for those 3 days ! I felt so accomplished in that “trick the system” type of way and I owe it all to Saul 😏

When Jimmy made the commercial for David and Main and Kim got in trouble for it he kept insisting that it was Chuck who was behind it to get to Jimmy and we find out it really was just Howard punishing Kim. But it turns out Jimmy wasn't completely wrong for suspecting that because in this episode we see Chuck really doesn't hesitate to screw over Kim when he thinks he can use it to hurt Jimmy, in fact he puts himself in extreme physical discomfort to do it.

Wait how exactly did he “screw over” Kim? He just advocated for his firm to win back his client. That wasn’t dirty, just business. Kim has tons of skill to land more clients. “Screwing over” someone is stealing their private documents and forging them to make a fool of them and ruin their reputation. Not exactly the same thing

Chuck stole that from Kim. Straight-up. I say kudos to Jimmy for doing what he can to take it back for her. Chuck's actions were from his enormous ego. Jimmy's were from loyalty. And protecting Kim. Polar opposite motives. One selfish, one not.
