the person that left is Kim Woojin. He (from what we know) was never kicked out of the company. he just wasn't really vibing with being in a group. and stray kids music didn't really highlight his vocal ability. he got a lot of hate bc of false accusations when he left, but he really didn't deserve it. I don't think skz are allowed to talk about him bc of the many scandals they had when he left, but I wouldnt be surprised if some of the members still talk to him privately. he is now a soloist and hes really happy.

You have to be careful looking for information about him, because there's lots of lies and baseless rumors going around, even now. He's been accused of sa, (proven false) and stays have rumored that he had problems with the members, some even calling him a bully. Though stays pretend he's a criminal, there has never been any substantial evidence for any allegation made against him. Woojin is now a soloist with his own stable fanbase (cubs) and musical identity, completely separate from his past with skz. I suggest you check his music out!!

I really find it insane how fans reacted to him leaving the group. I was a fan when it happened and when he was still in the group, he was probably the least popular and he also got many remarks about being the "ugliest in the group". I've never seen a fanbase reject a member that left so violently and with so much malicious rumor spreading to the point that even till this day, a year or two after the dust completely settled and none of those rumors or accusations hold any weight or have any actual evidence behind them, that most of skz fans are still uninformed about the baseless rumors and fan theories they think about him. There have been members who have committed actual crimes while in the group that weren't treated nearly as badly and are still beloved by their fans, the rapper from btob comes to mind in particular. though the reason he was kicked out was silly to me, still. So many idols have left their groups for personal reasons, bang yedam from treasure. he left and is now debuting as a soloist and there is some sourness but I've mostly seen positivity. I don't know why this fandom has always had such a magnet for terrible people.

eh, I don't know if that remark about stays is necessarily true. the tides of opinion have definitely turned a bit in the last year or so, maybe two years, but most stay still either know nothing about him, refuse to watch content with him in it, or flat out dislike him even though probably 75% of stay weren't even into the group when he was in it and don't know what he is like. people are definitely more aware of him not being a bad person (for any reason we know of) but there are still people who are misinformed and will refuse to even acknowledge he was an important part of the group at some point.
