I liveeeeeee for the lip and that Tarte pallete- I wasn't even considering buying the pallete but once I saw how beautiful the shades perform and blend, its now on my list of makeup to purchase. Casey, have you tried the Redness Solutions line From Clinique? It's targeted for girls like us with Rosacea. I'm currently using the primer, but I haven't tried anything else from the line. I do feel like my rosacea has calmed down a bit since I started using it. Was wanting your thoughts. Love your videos! ❤️

I have Rosacea and that line from Clinique made my skin worse! It took 2 weeks for my skin to go back to somewhat normal after stopping using it. I had the same experience with the The La Roche Posay Rosacea line. It was horrible. Oddly enough, the Lumene products work best for my skin. It doesn't make my skin worse and actually makes it about 50% better--which with my sensitive skin is prob best I'll get

Leslie Curtis I have both and I'd go with tarte, the shadows are more buttery and they blend better. Also you get 3 contour colors/bronzers. You don't get a peach transition color though, if you want that. And the tarte one is overall warmer.

Leslie Curtis probably personal preference. The packaging on the tarte is so pretty, but personally I like the shade and light palette. I just prefer the formula better and I feel like half the shades on the tarte do not show up well on my skin tone and I'm not even very dark!

You used the Bobbi brown concealer wrong. All the product is meant to be on the top of it. You have to apply all the product in dots under the eyes and then use the side to smooth it out. It's meant to help you not get too much product. Also you have to make sure you have eye cream on for it to smooth out. It's a newer product. If you can get near an actual Bobbi counter they can explain more. ( I only know this because I work for Bobbi Brown and they had to come train us. Once they trained us I love it!)

I'm on vacation down in southwest FL and went into Charming Charlie to poke around. If you are by one stop in. They actually had a few bhcosmetic palettes and a few brush sets. Maybe the concealer is meant for spot concealing and not under eye? That would explain the applicator and how it caked up if a lot is used!

Olivia Jacobsen you are correct...a couple of gurus have been complaining about it, but they assumed you apply it with the side of the applicator and a ton of product. All of the gurus ordered it online, but never asked BB reps either online or in store how to apply. they just gave it a negative comments based on their one incorrect assumptions. Then their followers say well if you don't like it, then i won't buy it...feel bad for the companies out there, because most gurus won't issue a mea culpa!

To me, the bobbi brown concealer texture is almost like the it cosmetics bye bye under eye. Bobbi Brown is more of a natural/no-makeup-makeup brand, always about perfecting the skin so it looks like your best skin. So I don't think it is necessarily designed for undereye highlighting that's usually seen on youtube/instagram--so trying to use it like other concealers might not work. But if that's how you use concealer, you probably wouldn't change it up for this product. For those who do their makeup with little concealer, maybe just a few dots under the eye and blended with the finger or even just in the inner corner & paired with a more fluid concealer for the rest of under eye triangle would work?? And i don't think that foundation is the move...:/ especially not for me, skin is too dry and too much texture. I love your videos Casey!!

hey Casey! I work for bobbi and the applicator on the BB instant full cover concealer is called a "flock" either use the tip to dot under the eye for a well rested look or for a more opaque look use the side and swipe under the eye. a little goes a long way! make sure your undereye is nicely prepped with some eye cream and I personally like using my fingers to help melt into the skin but a beauty blender works just as good 😊
