FlamSelk I think it’s that he’s living a literally caged, quiet, day by day sort of life and this guy went out of his way to share something different and magical with him. At a good zoo, they shouldn't be! Zoos provide enrichment activities for animals to keep them entertained and happy. It's similar to how you give your cat toys and things to climb on. Often animals also get toys and things to climb on, some get pools, some get special planned events like visiting magicians! The cute videos of the penguins visiting the zoo's aquarium are part of their enrichment.
