What’s up tanners!!
Lo and behold, I, a subjective and not-certified-to give-advice-but-still-doing-it uchicago student, has come to bestow some spicy freshman year advice for all of you uchicago class of 2024 and beyond kiddos! This video includes me talking about everything from parties, frats, intellectual elitism, extracurricular clubs, friend groups -- the “underbelly” “insider look” into what it’s like being a freshman at uchicago!!
I know this is a long video, and its literally just me talking to a camera so I’m sorry it’s not super exciting or stimulating for our 5-second attention spans (thanks tiktok), BUT I personally really really wished that I had something like this when I was a prospective student or even just a senior in high school looking into colleges. I think it gives you some insights into real problems and real life situations that WILL happen during first year!

1. Competitive clubs and what it means to get in / don’t get in (0:25)
