Well done Josh traveling such a long distance for a lower tier match. No admittance for supporters to stadiums in Wales as yet but by the time my local team Newport County face Forest Green and Bristol Rovers home during the first week of March for what will be two local derbies, stadiums should be open to supporters. Be good to see you there for one of those derbies. At least two others vloggers have visited Rodney Parade, one did so three times during our great escape of 2016 / 2017.

I took my grandson who's Carlisle mad. But with me being a Leeds fan I didn't care who won. But Carlisle were just the better team on the nyt but a draw was probably the correct result. Big divide between North and south. But thank god we live in Cumbria about 1 hour from Carlisle.

Twice Carlisle beat Newcastle united at home in the 80s both games had crowds of around 16000, funny old place to go at times, if there’s any honest Chelsea fans they’ll say the same, as a toon fan getting beat off shrewsbury,Cambridge Grimsby is part of our history, I’ll never forget our past, last 2 times in the championship was fun full grounds at away games, the likes of Rotherham Ipswich Brentford etc bringing 3000 up here, I hope we treat the championship with respect on our next trip ( soon to be)

I followed Pools to Carlisle for many years but the last time I went, before we were relegated to the National League, we were treated like shite. They barred us from the pubs, charged our buses a small fortune to park by the ground and then, after their supporters started fighting among themselves, they locked us in for half-an-hour after the final whistle. After that I swore I would never go there again.
