My First Ever Monster Hunter Game! | Monster Hunter Wilds Beta

Hunters are specialist individuals who train in the use of Hunter weapons, Larger than life weapons that are used in the subjugation of large beast. Its said in the lore that the weapons are to only be used against Monsters (wyverns, beast, dragons, pretty much every hostile to people in nature). In the lore, Hunters are dispatched by the Hunter's Guild to take out monsters threatening society an culling them to lower the population as to not upset the balance of nature. It said that usually if there isn't a hunter, then armies are sent to deal with the monsters because they aren't equipped to deal with the threat. The later games don't really have these entries anymore and are more about nature and balance. Most hunters are humans but there are sub races in the world. The cats (Cat-like humanoids called Lynians) have their own societies and used to live in their own little villages. They mostly work as laborers and are usually extremely proficient at the specific task they do, while the more wild ones (Melynx, darker ones,like to steal your belongings because they are kleptomaniacs) live in little communities in the wild. It wasn't until recently that they started working with hunters as supporters, those ones have the heart of a hunter and live for the hunter life and work with the Hunters guild as support and sometimes full hunter parties lol. There is also a wyverian race of humanoids that are like elves in this world. Long lives, mostly human looks aside from their small feet, 4 fingered hands and long ears they live amongst humans as historians, explorers, biologist and also skilled hunters. Fun facts, there's lore behind why you can only make parties of 4 and anymore is considered taboo and frowned upon even in the most dire of circumstances. A hunter is hired to do many task ranging from random gathering quest of herbs or ore to killing world ending elder dragons. Older quest you take used to have very funny and sometimes dark themed backstories from "help, I need some herbs for my stew! it just doesn't taste right without it..." to "The spoiled princess demands a golden rathian as a pet... Please catch one for the princess."

MH can be overwhelming if you are coming from souls games and not familiar with combos. every weapon has a learning curve to it and really satisfying learning progression. hope java gets into this game. i remember it took me a while to get hooked on the game series as i was trying to wrap my head around many different systems.

The ultimate endgame for this is to beat all the monsters(quests, events, etc.) so you can dress up fabulously XD

I'll be there day one if you start a Monster Hunter guild. 🎉 Because there are so many little details in the outfits, the world, the base camp, its actually so fun and relaxing to just look around, vibe and play dress up between hunts I love how the game as intense or relaxing as you want it to be.

MH world is really worth it IMO. the biggest difference with wilds is the world exploration and quest setup (also less storytelling) If you liked wilds you will enjoy it for sure 👍. P.D: i really liked my Aloy Cameo in the end, great fun 😊😊

I liked the game. But worried about performance. Even on PS5 and good PCs it's not ideal. Capcom has also given us lackluster performance with Dragon Dogma 2. I might honestly give MH World a try first.

They mentioned on their Twitter that the beta is older version of the current version they have. So it's highly likely that the version they have is much more flushed out than the beta they wanted for the public to test out.

This game has dozens of actual "hunting" aspects to it, so you're better off taking the name "Monster Hunter" very literally You can trap monsters, lure them, sneak up on them, and take advantage of their behavior patterns They're meant to be fought with pure exploitation in mind, so dont feel bad for them, not in the least bit
