But, even thought the White Materia ball is now empty, I remember seeing somewhere that the Devs plan on the now clear Materia ball to have some significance later.

I don't think The Lands Between can technically be classified either a Patriarchy or a Matriarchy when you look behind the scenes. After all The Greater Will chooses a candidate it deems worthy and gives them the title of God. That's why Marika, Ranni, Miquella, and Malenia are Empyreans. They are simply the best candidates to be God of The Lands Between with neither gender, age, nor birth order playing a roll in the selection. All it depends on is if The Greater Will believes it can control the candidate or not, if it cannot they will dispose of the Empyrean. That's also why every Empyrean in the game can be seen having beastly companion(s) that have the potential to kill them should they disobey The Greater Will and they are disguised as a "gifts" or called "family". Marika has Maliketh Ranni has Blaidd And both Miquella and Malenia are implied to have had received some of these beasts, given that there are multiple statues of them in the Haligtree surrounded by 3 of wolves. However, where these wolves are, nobody really knows. They could have also long been shunned by The Greater Will since Miquella has renounced his loyalty to the Golden Order and Malenia will simply "choose" to follow her brother wherever he goes. Furthermore, they are both inflicted with curses originating from different Outer Gods, so The Greater Will also might not want to take a chance on them. Anyway, regardless of if you call Radagon King or King Consort, Marika and/or the chosen God of The Lands Between will always be above their marriage partner in terms of rank/power. The Greater Will is the true leader pulling all the strings and simply places someone in the role of "God" while forcing them to do its bidding within The Lands Between.

Just ... for those who don't know and interested in Chinese mythology. She's not a "spider-woman" or a werespider or whatever you're thinking. She's a plain spider. In Chinese mythology, when things get old in nature, whether it's a flower, a skeleton, a dog, when they get really REALLY old, they might start to "awaken", become more "sentient", become more powerful. Their lifespan greatly increases, and as they grow more powerful, one of the things they always learn to do is transform into a higher being, i.e. a human. Yes, humans are in a tier above them. But this transformation, while it is real and can be touched, is still an illusion. She is still a spider, a very smart, powerful, long-life spider. There's a mirror in the journey to west story, not sure if it's in this game, that shows the true look of any being. Some people can see through these illusions. And some have abilities to "dispel" these illusions. In the original story, I believe monkey magic can see through them.

I feel like after a bit of a break, maybe a drink, you should try and revisit sekiro. You seemed to be enjoying it at the start and then the gun fort happened and it ruined the game for you. This game unfortunately suffered from the big layoffs and story cuts theres so much that they had to cut or trim done mostly due to EA meddling and massive cuts to content that being said I had a massive amount of fun playing I definitely think a lot could have been better but i truly think a lot was due to EA just being EA

There's 3 or 4 years til the final chapter is released, that's plenty of time to come to grips with reality. 2) FF16 and thr Remake project are the only FF games au have played? I heard u say u are replaying FF16...It's ur channel, but I'm sure tons of ppl would live to u see u jump into a new title......FFX? XII? FF16 is an OKAY action game. As a FF title, it's SOOOOO bottom of the barrel. If/when u play FFX, I'll bet u remember this comment. The series has so much to offer, and FF16 is lifeless compared to just about every other entry, which is chock full of life, characters, awesome lore, MEMORABLE cities and characters, wonderful stories, and entire optional areas/bosses.

It was such a pleasure seeing this game from a first-timer's perspective. You were so charitable and open to the experience, and your critiques were spot on and fair. If you do ever play Inquisition in the future, play as a female elf so you can romance Solas! The romanced Solas ending in Veilguard made me bawl my eyes out. It was exactly what I hoped for for 10 years.

Agree with Java. I also found the first 1/3 and last 1/4 of the game very very strong and good. But the middle part can feel bogged down in how the sidequest and companion quests are structured. The companion quests needed to be more compressed. Having to start one, go to a location to talk for only a few minutes then porting back to lighthouse to talk to that same companion to get the follow up quest for another brief talk where we need to port back to basically same area several times. so much redundant teleporting lol. Also like Java I felt the companion quests should have been more integrated to the main quests and the whole team as in a bit more scene with more companion being more involved with other companion quests. Still like it overall and now on my 2nd playthrough. Edit: Hopefully they add a ton of 2hand Greatsword Appearances in the game. I know it will be harder for them to add Greatswords as items now since it will mess up the current builds that existing items already give so having them as appearances for us to xmog into will be a good option to add them into the game.
