Fortnite Season 3 Settings Guide! - FPS Boost, Colorblind Modes, & More!

In this video, I talk about about the best new settings for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3. From my experience, the general FPS and responsiveness has not been the greatest this season so because, I know there are a ton of people are experiencing bad input delay, FPS drops and error messages that don't let them play the game, I am here to help! I was able to gather the best brightness settings, video graphic quality options, and FPS Boost tricks and tips to help optimize your game in Chapter 5 Season 3. These will include Nvidia graphic quality setting changes you can make to your brightness, contrast, and digital vibrancy, tips on which color blind modes to choose from the available colorblind options (deteuranope, protanope, and tritanope) and other tips and tricks for more frames on both console and PC. On top of that, I talked about the secret changes Epic made to the graphic quality options in Chapter 5 as well as what rendering mode is the best between performance mode (high and low meshes), DirectX 11 (DX11) and DirectX 12 (DX12). I tried to include as many tricks to boost your FPS as I could for both console (PS4 and Xbox One) and PC, mobile and switch, but I obviously could not fit everything into one video (some systems don't have them either like performance mode on PC). Definitely check out some of my other ultimate settings guides and FPS Boost tutorials in order to get more FPS and reduce input lag (make your game run smoother). dude its literally the same old B.S. "optimized" settings every single new season.. If you want real performance optimization DO THIS.. Videos where they tell you to turn EVERYTHING off have no clue what their doing. Its all regurgitated nonsense that will only benefit very low end computers that struggle to even get 50 to 60 stable fps. If you are playing on a decent gaming desktop or laptop use the settings as followed.. Image scaling - Off Ambient Occlusion - Off Anisotropic Filtering - Application controlled Antialiasing - FXAA - Off Antialiasing; Gamma correction - On Antialiasing-Mode - Application Control Antialiasing-setting - Off Antialiasing-Transparency - Off Background application Max Frame Rate - Off CUDA-GPUs - All / Just make sure your GPU is checked CUDA-System Fallback Policy - Driver Default DSR-Factors - Off Low Latency Mode - Ultra or On.. If you're using G-Sync turn this to ULTRA if no G-Sync set to ON Max Frame Rate - Off / If your would like to cap your framerate do it within the games application itself Monitor Technology - G-Sync Compatible but only if your gaming monitor supports it. If your monitor does not support G-Sync turn this settings to fixed refresh. Note: Turning G-Sync on will not give you input delay while using Low Latency Mode - Ultra ... G-sync will reduce screen tearing without adding any delay. Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA) - Off OpenGL GDI compatibility - Auto OpenGL rendering GPU - Auto-select (IMPORTANT SETTING) Power management mode - Normal, NOT PREFER MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Prefer maximum performance is horrible for your computer.. It causes your computer to use a crap load of power causing high temperatures and inconsistent performance. Keep this on Normal and setting your power plan to BALANCED in windows is what you want. This is my recommended power settings which will force your pc to use the power needed to give you the best performance while gaming as well as lowering power consumption when you decide to take a break from gaming to do work or watch KZbin etc. Preferred Refresh Rate - Highest Available: If you are playing with uncapped FPS. Application Controlled: If you are Capping your FPS within game application Shader Cache Size - Set to; 100gb or unlimited if you have plenty of storage available.. 400gb up to 500gb of unused storage set - unlimited. Set to; Driver Default - if your don't have 100gb or more storage available for shaders Texture Filtering-Anisotropic sample optimization - OFF.... Turn ON if your PC FPS is (very, very, low and inconsistent) Texture Filtering-Negative LOD bias - KEEP ON (ALLOW) NO MATTER WHAT Texture Filtering-Quality - Set to (QUALITY) , If your PC is performing horrible fps wise change to (high performance). With that being said i highly recommend keeping this option to (QUALITY) Texture Filtering-Trilinear Optimization - ON Texture Filtering-Threaded Optimization - AUTO Triple Buffering- OFF (IMPORTANT SETTING) Vertical Sync - Use The 3D application settings. Will not cause delay.. Will help with tearing and color distortion without needing to enable V-Sync. DO NOT TURN THIS OFF.. KEEP ON (USE THE 3D APPLICATION SETTINGS) Virtual reality pre-rendered frames - 1 virtual reality-Variable rate super sample - OFF Vulkan/OpenGL present method - AUTO I hope this helped, Enjoy! One more thing.. If you have a pretty decent gaming pc look up (Dx12 performance mode) on KZbin and click on *(Performance Mode or DX12? Why not both?! Fortnite Fact or Fiction less input delay DX11)* Channel name - TommieLSP

Hey Jerian, you should turn off Low Latency Mode in the control panel settings if you are using Nvidia Reflex low latency in game. It actually gives you more latency if your low latency mode is on in the control panel. You should all test it and see the difference 🙏❤

Directx 12 is the second fastest rendering mode, the first is performance mode, but it also has the most graphics options so you can play at higher graphics at higher performance
