DISNEY TIP.... if you want to buy fragile items but are worried about getting them home.. simply ask the cast member at check out if you can send your fragile items home... They will hand you a slip to fill out with your address and they will carefully packages your items and ship them to your house.. now it may not arrive until you get back from your trip but everything should arrive safe and sound... My husband and I have done this will Christmas ornaments we we're worried about traveling home with and they arrived in the mail perfect.... I don't think this has changed since we were there in 2014.

Alyson Snyder I know Dollywood will hold your items until the end of the day and you pick them up at the exit area. Does Disney do anything like that?

Noisydavis I think that you can ask them to told your purchased items but you would have to go back to that store... But I'm not 100% on that... I do know that if you stay at a Disney resort hotel you can have your purchased items sent to your room and they will deliver your items right to your room.

The last time we went in May I scanned all the items we wanted in the Shop Parks app. I screen shot my cart half way through my trip, then on the last day, we picked all our favorites to purchase. Of course some items, we had to by before we left but it was such a space saver. Our items all arrived safely within 5 days of us getting home and we didn't have to worry about cramming anything in our suitcases to fly. Also cork board sheets (I get mine at Hobby Lobby) cut to place in frames is an awesome way to display your pins so you can always see your memories!

My husband and I have been married for 15 years and together for almost 19. Ever since we were dating we have bought a shot glass every time we go on a special trip. We decided on shot glasses because they're small, and we have filled up an entire curio cabinet with our shot glasses! Our friends even buy them for us when they go somewhere really special (like Paris and London). Y'all will love getting to look back at your coffee cups and remembering the trips you've taken together. ❤

Disney tip: wear cute workout clothes! If you get wet from minor water rides or sweaty it dries very quickly! The shoe/outfit combos are generally cute and comfy. I wore jeans and flip flops one day it was a big mistake. Also, backpack purses are your friend! Even messenger bags hurt your shoulders after awhile.

When ever I go to the parks I pick up a pin starter pack specifically to use to trade with during my trip, the cool thing about trading is the cast members have "hidden Mickey" pins that you can't purchase and those pins are some of my favorites that I own! The Lion King will always be special to me bc it came out when I was 10-11 and my Great Aunt took us to see It 2x that day. I'm a Merchandise CM and I would definitely say to ship your mugs home after you buy them! It's a little bit of an extra charge, but if anything happens to them during tranist, they're "insure" and Disney will replace them with no charge! So that way you don't have to worry about them while traveling. You can ship any Disney merchandise from any gift shop as long as it still has the tag with the SKU on it and it's done by price, not weight :)
