FINALLY! Someone gives No. 7 some love! I’ve been commenting about No 7 foundation for years and no one ever tries it! Lift & Luminate is the holy grail but the new serum foundation is great too! Don’t pass this brand by, they have amazing foundation and complexion products!

Hey Jess, Don’t forget to put spf around your eyes. It’s 1% of the skin on your body but 10% of skin cancers. And the surgery for skin cancer around the eye is difficult because the skin is so thin- you need a dermatologist who is a plastic surgeon & it’s a hospital stay. Okay, I’ll stop lecturing now, and say that I love your videos as I’ve been getting back into makeup.

Oh my goodness. I had completely forgotten about the Maybelline Full & Soft mascara! That was my ride or die mascara all through high-school and for a few years after. Oh my gosh--I LOVE that Revolution concealer--it just blends right in and doesn't cake or crease on me. It's the only one I have back ups of as I'm afraid it will be discontinued. No one talks about it, and I love it!!

I finally got the Catrice concealer and it's the best! I have older skin and wrinkles under my eyes, it's the least crease-y concealer I've tried. I live in Canada so it was hard to get but I finally got it on Amazon! Thanks for continually mentioning this - it kept reminding me to try to order it and I'm so glad I did! Keep up the great work!

@@itsjessicabraun I bought No 7 pressed powder since they changed the packaging, never tried the other packaging (original) but they must have changed it because it is like any other pressed powder. I’m not at all wowed by it. Flower’s is better than this. Kosas is way better. This is literally like Wet and Wild’s jenky packaging powder, Maybelline Fit Me pressed, Cover Girl and all the others. Nyx finishing powder is stay matte is even better.

Let's hear it for the subtle shimmer shades in both of those eyeshadow palettes! I have an earlier generation NYX Ultimate 12-pan palette that contains the same dusky lavender/mauve shade you used here, and I love that it's the right color and consistency but not too bold with shimmer and shine. Thanks for the short demo today Jessica - now I know I can have that exact shade again. And yes, I'll buy an entire palette just to get one or two shades that I love.

I’ve had to stop lining the waterline because my eyes got really dry and irritated. My eyes would then start watering to compensate for the moisture loss because I blocked the oil glands present in the water line that would lubricate my eyes. So a word of caution: if you have dry eyes leave your waterline alone.

I bought my fenty skin tint too dark. I now use it as bronzer. Try it out! The texture of that stuff is so awesome. Gotta get my regular shade but can’t justify it until I’m out of my staples (double wear for special occasions and for everyday luminous silk or just the Tom ford emotion proof concealer as foundation). I have limited favorites because I’m black and have a really hard time finding neutral foundations that match me

I love the make up revolution eye brightened! I use it as a targeted foundation over the top of a tinted moisturizer with SPF. And I’m 59 years old and I absolutely think it makes me look like I have the best skin of my life! The packaging is interesting. I kind of have a love-hate relationship with it. I’ve had the blush that comes in the same packaging from them and as much as I liked the blush, the packaging got so messy after a while.

Even here in the UK, No7 is always underrated. It’s a Boots brand and they always have voucher too. TBH I haven’t tried much of their makeup stuff but the skincare so worth it, better than Olay. I had their advent calendar once and there was Youthful eye cream, i chucked it into my travel makeup bag and wow it’s so good! I love that revolution eye concealer, it’s supposedly to be a Charlotte Tilbury dupe, I find it best to apply some on the eye area and leave it alone to sink in, then dot your other concealer for more coverage, then go back and dab-blend with sponge or finger. Never crepe-y. The shades are named “fair, light etc” not by their regular numbered shades here in the UK. It also reminded me of the maybelline eraser eye concealer I used to love, maybe it’s the sponge tip thing? A doe foot wouldn’t work, it’s so thin might spill everywhere. Rimmel scandaleyes waterproof or the eyedefiner are underrated. The waterproof stays on my greasy eyelids all day and you can smudge it out or wing it with a brush before it sets. I love the metallic brown but the black is great for waterline too. The eye definer offers a smudge tip on the other end. Love them.

I feel like the Essence stick that is gray makes it look like a bruise because it’s a contour shade not a bronzer. Use as a contour and then use an actual bronzer color over the cheek
