A Korean animal rescue channel that I watch has made stories about pure bred cats found dumped in a forest. They managed to track down where they came from, and they were from a pet/cat cafe that had closed. So they just dumped the cats in the woods.

They do that because I heard in Korea if you give your pet away you will have to pay a big amount of money to animal care acilities,so they must didn't want to spend money so cruel

I really like "no kids zones" because some of us just really want to enjoy peace and quiet and a calming atmosphere and it's never that way even with well mannered kids. Every place in the world doesn't need to be for everybody. Forcing everybody to tolerate the chaos does not create less hate, quite the opposite.
@Tommie22x
@Tommie22x Жыл бұрын
we need to be tolerant of more people (kids, races, ages, disabled, etc) segregating and excluding people creates hate. you don't say no "white people zone" or "no wheelchair zone". that doesn't fly

Being a parent in Korea is drudgery. That's a big reason why the birth rate is 0.75. There's a huge difference between taking e.g. American/Delta with kids and taking Korean/Asiana kids. Parents are held to a higher standard in Korea and this costs a lot of births.
@parisplayz2118

No kids zones aren't bad its just that there is a fast increasing number of no kid zones so its hard for parent to go out and eat at places they enjoy. Thats why it's a problem.
@anna8282
@anna8282 Жыл бұрын
@@parisplayz2118 There are so many restaurants and cafés that it really can't be a problem to find somewhere to go. The world already functions on the terms of the loudest and pushiest everywhere, it's time that also peace and quiet loving people (who also are paying customers!) have places to go. Just like there are places that cater to families with kids, with play rooms and such. Many people like a calming, "sofisticated" environment (also parents on a night out!) and there is no reason to not provide that. It just really seems to bother some people that THEY can't go somewhere and that makes them want to go even more, I've noticed from some internet discussions. Even one separate "childfree room" in an otherwise open-for-all establishment caused a big hooplaa, suddenly everybody wanted specifically into that room. The only "acceptable" reason to ban kids seems to be bars, nightclubs etc, but not all of us adults like that kind of stuff. In the end it's all about profit and if paying customers want their peaceful oasis, that is what venues would probably want to offer.

The way parents are with their kids these days a no kid zone would be nice especially in the states. I've been in the industry for 10 years and parents will even try to have their kids sit at the bar in the restaurant. Parents have taken less and less responsibility for their children. I don't know how it is in Korea but here in the states it's bad.

No kids zone is fine. When you have a rule like you must manage your kids if you come in, it never works because there are some parents who don’t care. Just like you can’t flirt with the young staff, it never works. Most effective method is to bar these groups.

I support the no kids zone personally. Sometimes you may just want a space where you dont have to be on gard with a kid knocking stuff over or causing a fuss or parents policing how you look, or what you say because "there are kids here" 🙄 maybe its different in a different country but id support this in the US 😅 also we have no pets, then should have no kids in housing. They are just as noisy and distructive so it makes sense. The no senior zone seems like an over reach for a specific issue. But its likely because they could not recive help with that issue so they had to take drastic measure.

I'm in the US, too and I also support "No Kids Zone" haha But I agree. The no senior zone is a little too much. At least in the US, I feel that the seniors don't have that many benefits. So, they should be welcome everywhere imho.

I agree too. Every kid will eventually get older so they can go to those places after they grow up. You can't get any younger though. I feel bad for the nice seniors who can't visit those places because there were some creeps.

I love taking the bus in Korea bc it can be faster, u usually get a seat, and they typically have great air con/open windows. Where as the subway is hot af, little air con, and u rarely get a seat and have to stand the entire time. But riding the bus can make u sick... the bus drivers tend to give u whip lash from all their violent breaking. It's constant jerking. I hate that but it's a small price to pay for being more comfortable.

Hot meat in burger buns = burger, cold meat in slices of bread = sandwich. That's a chicken burger, I'm from England so this is the correct way to say it in English.

Agree otherwise but if I take two slices of sourdough or rye bread and put a slice of hot oven baked ham or some rotisserie chicken etc in it I'd still call it a sandwich. I totally agree about pets cafes, they're caged in small spaces all the time, they deserve to be free in nature. For the no kids rule, honestly I understand and agree, parents don't often care about them and they make noise, break things and run everywhere, they sometimes make waiters fall and the owner blame the waiters wich is not fair. To me, if you can't keep your kids quiet, you stay out of my café. If your kids are well educated then, they can come in. Same for older people, they're well welcomed in the cafes, but if they start to annoy the girls you go out, if you refuse, I call the police. Jina, you look so pretty with this hairstyle ❤

Hi Jina, I'm from Singapore and i went to Korea in march this year. I think as a foreigner, i could already feel the difficulties of living in Korea. 1) Why are there so many stairs in korea?? its like subway stations always kind of force people to walk down the stairs and climb up stairs. 2) They always judge us foreigners, by our skin colour and how we speak, they think we are china people?? I am a Singaporean Chinese. And its upsetting having to explain yourself to the restaurant or eateries owners that I come from Singapore to have a different view from them. And to get better treatment. 3) people are always pushing each other and dont really have courtesy to make space for other people when its crowded. 4) Beauty standards, i feel as though i could not go out with bare face due to the high emphasis korean people placed on beauty...

5:01 Huh, I'm surprised other non-Koreans don't like Mom's Touch, I actually really like it. Lotteria isn't very good though, but they have some options that are alright. I think it's mostly people from the U.S. that are opposed to the term "chicken burger." For us, it's not a burger unless it's ground beef or trying to imitate ground beef. It's weird that some are opposed to the idea of calling it a chicken sandwich, since it's a piece of chicken with other ingredients between two pieces of bread. Considering we (Americans) are the ones that popularized that particular fast food item around the world, we are going to keep calling it by its original (actual) name. That said, I have accepted that foreigners are going to keep calling it a chicken burger, so I've stopped trying to correct them.

You make some really good points there and there's a few things that I completely agree with. Not every geographical places quite that perfect or anything no matter where you go. It's actually a little bit humorous because it's can be similar but different in every place you go on the globe I'm not laughing at you in any way shape or form I'm trying to laugh with you there's a film called The gods must be crazy . That's really humorous because of other places that are Continental areas we're almost everybody is somewhat forced to have private ownership of an automobile simply because the geography and roads and infrastructure is built around that where a woman gets in her car and she drives about a hundred yards to go get her mail 📬 because you're not supposed to walk. The one thing I noticed when I was in Europe is the portions of really big salads when you go up Northern Europe the salad's aren't really big there's certain things in certain areas that you just can't get like leafy lettuce and spinach salad 🥗 and neither Britain or the Philippines doesn't always seem very big compared to certain places in the states it's sometimes difficult to see but if you pay attention to certain things of detail you'll notice some things that you will always appreciate about your own geographical place or country and many other things that you've just can't stand about your own geographical place or country to

It's a beautiful country, and there seems to be lots of outdoor activities in the city, but if you can't breathe fresh air, I would imagine that it would diminish the experience. Theres one race and one alone that i know that does this, and its one of the reasons why Australians hate Americans. Sure we love them as people, they are our brothers and sisters, but the arrogance of telling someone they should or shouldnt eat something or call it a different name because they call it something else. I find zoo's unethical but on the fence with animal cafess. Where i live the laws protecting animals are strong...However, i am not sure because we live in a world where we struggle to convince some humans to treat other well, why would i trust money driven business with mute animals !

Hi Jina, the burgers here are amazing. My two favorite burger restaurants are Mom’s Touch and Lotteria. I love the shrimp burger at Lotteria and the chicken sandwich at Mom’s Touch. Also, I noticed that at pedestrian crossings without a pedestrian crossing signal, people can cross without even looking in the direction of oncoming traffic without fear of getting hit by a car. And I mean even the elderly cross the street without fear of getting hit even when a car is speeding at 30 miles per hour. That would never happen in the United States. I was shocked with mouth wide open when I saw it happening in front of me today in Busan, Busanjin, Bujeon market.

P.S. Mom's Touch is here in the U.S. in the Southern California. The company I work for considered a Venture Capital investment in the company but decided against it. They now have two restaurants in SOCAL. Momoland's Jooe was a spokesperson for the chain.

Oh man, I like corn pizza. I think your foreign friends corrupted you. Took something you liked and made you feel uncomfortable with it. Just like Mom's Touch... 😥 Personally I also like squid pizza too! 😅 When you showed the Gimpo Gold Line, I was like that doesn't look crowded at all! But then I had to Google crowds to get a better idea of the level. I've been on worse but that looked pretty packed. Also this was pretty high quality (probably more than you may have wanted), did you shoot all of this with your FX30?

First time here and I experience worst thinks than those....for example: Many man spitting on the street in front of you, here in Daejeon rubbish pile on the streets, every time you go somewhere with work colleagues they force you to drink....otherwise you have a problem, many mornings my work colleagues their breath is full of alcohol, especially Mondays, also the same on some shops with the assistants, and the same alcohol breath on the lifts, and on the metro....sometimes I am gasping for air..., I got sick from an Oyster and I was suffering for a week, most of the food places are Soup !, everywhere you have sugar...you buy any type of bread, it is sweet, you eat pizza and they give you honey to put on top, everything and anything it is glazed and toped with some kind of sweet substance. Whenever you order a soft drink they fill it with ice, every location indoors the Air condition it is blast on full, so you have very hot out and very cold in...The taxi drivers are not good and also they not respect pedestrians in zebra crossings....There is nowhere English and when they say it is, it is just mixed with Korean !.......
