1) Yes, Twilight Princess has a HUGE filter in the fucking divine tear sections. They grind the game to a halt to force you play hide and go seek with these annoying ass bugs that sometimes your lock-on attack won't even lock onto properly. It's what stopped me from beating it for so long myself, and I love Twilight Princess. Don't beat yourself up over it. 2) There are many Links in the LoZ timeline. They are not the same person, but they are the same *entity* if that makes sense. Ganon and Link are spiritual personifications of Evil and Good, respectively, and are cursed to be reborn time and time again to fight each other for all time. Every Ganon is not the SAME Ganon, but they are the same GANON, y'know? Same goes with Link.
