dryer sheets in towels actually makes them less absorbent over time, i didn't know that til this year but i don't use them in my towel loads now and it helps!

Here’s a tip so you don’t ruin your favorite laundry 😂. Don’t use fabric softener or sheets with towels. They ruin the absorbency and can make them mildewy. Happy towel folding! 😁

I just came on here to say the same thing, fabric softener is bad for towels. Just use vinegar when you wash them and they will be soft. Outside of towels I use 1/2 fabric softener sheet to get rid of static cling

I thought I was the only one who got satisfaction from washing and folding towels 😅 I also use 2-3 dryer sheets for laundry! & I haven’t played go fish in so many years that I don’t even remember how to play anymore 😂 I used to call it “gold fish” LOL

Towels are my jam😂 I'd say depending on how many towels I have per load, I'll use 4-5 dryer sheets😯 lol, I like the extra softness and the static free, and the smell is obviously bonus!

Fabric sheets actually remove the absorption from towels. It’s the only load that you’re not supposed to use them. So at least skip the sheets after every other wash.

I don't use fabric softener in my towels. It prevents them from absorbing water. I use washing powders, bleach tablets and white vinegar. They smell so good! Try it... You will love it!

Zero dryer sheets! Did ya know dryer sheets are the #2 most TOXIC household cleaning product in the home (#1 is toilet bowl cleaner) especially with being pregnant, I thought it'd be helpful to share ♡ Try wool dryer balls for a great alternative. They not only reduce static, but save energy! (Make sure to lower heat setting, if ya dont...then there'll be tons of static!) If it's the smell you love, just add essential oils to the dryer balls during the last 10 mins of the dry cycle! ;)
