My grandfather passed the monday before last. Its all starting to sink in now. A new madeon song is exactly what i needed right now. Especially somthing as upbeat as this. Makes me remember the good times i had with him. Stayin up late on friday nights just to watch baseball with him. I missed hanging with friends at the varsity games for the entirety of last year, when i was a freshman. He got bladder cancer and the treatment damaged his kidneys. They tried dialysis for 6 months but nothing worked. My grandmother, who i also loved to death, and why i started goin there on friday nights to begin with, also died of brain cancer in the summer before my freshman year of HS. This song is the first thing that got me to crack a small smile all day. Thank you madeon for making my day a bit better.

This is my favorite song on the entire album. It goes through so many different moods. I especially love the bit at the end "Can you show me a miracle?". For whatever it reason the singing feels so organic and candid at first at that point, and at the very end, the singer just lets out all of their emotions and ascends into godhood with that angelic voice of hers. This is a goddamn masterpiece.

I remember when this song was teased for the album release and I would play it on repeat over and over cause it was so good. And I'd think, "Madeon, drop the song, I NEED TO LISTEN TO THE FULL VERSION!" When the album came out late at night in my time, I listened to it and damn near burst out into tears over how beautiful it was. Like, it was worth the wait and I loved every second of the song.
