May be you have given interview for ward and if not you can change your department

It's hard to work straight in ICU as it's so different here in the UK. We often advise candidates to pass their OSCE on the ward as the OSCE is very ward based and then speak to the matron on ICU to see if you can learn anything. Once you've passed OSCE, you can apply for ICU jobs in the hospital that your COS if from.

From our experience Trusts ask you to pass OSCE before they will issue a support letter for a spouse visa. OSCE training is a stressful time and you need to focus completely on passing the exam and also finding somewhere to live with your family. It's recommended that you want 6 months before bringing your family. You provided accommodation will also be for single use.

(Which ma'am has shared) Recently there was an agency who uploaded for a vacancy for Midwives, which later on i was told that it's only for Labour room nurses who independently deliver babies without the doctors! (Which never happens in India even in community based) So i told the agency to request on my criteria and check whether I'm exceptional since I've got 3+ years of experience in OBG ward since I've got good skills on taking care of both Mothers and Newborns plus Gynaec patients whether its normal or critical care. But she didnt listen. She just told me its specific that they require only labour room nurses who delivers baby by their own! So i would like to know whether this kind of Midwives requirements are really recruited from India? Is having OBG experience and doing NMC registration in Midwives not worth our experience?.. Kindly its a humble request to share your thoughts on this on a serious note Sir.. 🙏 Regards🙏
