I dont use hostile mob farms anymore. The rates just arent high enough unless you build it like he did in the video, which looks disgusting. Ive tried making it look like a cool tower, with plenty of room inside, completely dark in there as well, and the rates still go down. So i just opt for seperate farms for those items. A devoted gunpowder farm is worth more than one of those hostile mob farms anyway, so id suggest looking for skeleton and spider spawners to flesh out the rest of the items. Makes builds much more aesthetic and viable, and much less of a headache to cover up

We also have some of these farms in Bedrock edition. The redstone part is different of course from Java but at least we can also make these farms. I especially enjoy making the iron farm but with Bedrock, we combine an iron farm and a villager trading hall.

I like the idea of the xp gains from the furnace. I set up a disposal system to collect the extra crops from my auto farms and the idea of sending them to my blacksmith to role play a repair machine is just so cool

I've never beaten the game or gotten wings, or a shulker box 😢 I even play on easy.and tend to die a lot. Idk what I can do to get better. I've played a lot... not lately, but still. The furthest I ever got was Netherite armor.

I wanna correct you on something, because since 1.16, the classic fishing farm design doesn't really work. You will fish, and it still gives you items, but you will NOT get books, enchanted items, or other useful items. There are some designs that either use timers, which aren't the most effective, or some 1.19+ designs with sculk sensors. They get quite large in comparison to the design in the video, but they do give you treasure items.

What I’d do for an XP farm in my worlds is to make a chicken farm! (I always had the worst luck with dungeons) Think of it: chickens can be bred with any seed, which you likely inevitably get excess of… Plus they lay eggs! If you collect them via hopper minecart/hoppers and dispense them, they keep generating and you can kill them easy peasy + get food and feathers I ended up having so many they crashed the server and I had to cook them all with lava

Hey! You can use chunkbase for finding dungeons if you like😊 Just put your seed and your coordinates of your home and chunkbase will do the rest for you! It can also find other things like strongholds, biomes and so much more. Goodluck mate😄

@@lailatayag8094 Thanks man, but I feel like that's kinda cheating (I would use it for slime chunks tho). I did find a dungeon like 4k blocks away, but its a spider one Never skeletons 😢 Oh well, time to build a nether highway :D
