"I used think I was someone, I see that I'm someone else." That line, among all the other great ones, just really hits me in the chest, man. I'm not even fully sure why, but wow.

Little update, my wife and I are finally going to see Nick play in Boston in June. It will be surreal to see him perform live about as far away from Alaska as he could get in the States. To see his hard work, passion and dedication pay off is inspiring. Nowadays even with a million ways to connect with artists, I’ve never felt more disconnected to most of them. But with Nick, it feel real, authentic, and brutally honest. In a world where everyone try’s to show off themselves as something they’re not, it’s refreshing to see someone like Nick show you the deeper parts of his childhood and life and it’s something you really just don’t get anymore. Stay true to yourself and for those reading, enjoy the little things, don’t forget what makes life worth living. Honor the past, live in the moment, and have hope for the future.

I just dedicated my entire afternoon to learning this on my acoustic guitar - my finger tips are bleeding, my hands hurt & I’m tired as shit.. but I couldn’t feel more excited, stoked and happy. Thanks Nick, you’ve helped me through a lot ❤️

Would love to have an acoustic version of this recorded for Spotify (or to buy!), same with Men. Stellar voice and lyrics, excited to hear more of your music stripped down acoustically in the future, hopefully.

Smiling, laughing, the helmet, the high-vis vest... It's a little silly, a bit ridiculous at the start... but then BAM, at 0:30 you catch that steely-eyed thousand-yard-stare and the mood changes, it's like you're right back to where you were when you belted this out the first time in your bedroom or garage... intense and honest and fkn real... ty man. There's nothing silly about this.
