I watched one of your videos and you talked about SWAG position. Can you direct me to that video or explain what SWAG stands for again? Thank you! I love your videos!

Christina Love hi there. I don’t think that was me. I don’t use swag stands, not sure of what that is. Sorry :(

Should you use signs? Things that say my expectations? Should you say things like you have done the wrong thing, keep quiet?

You ,are me not feel bad about using discipline for little ones lol

Yeah, I think its more so about just making sure that you are firm and you stand by what you say.

Hi! Have you ever had parents complain or give you a hard time with your initial disciplinary routines? How did you handle that?
@itsmoniquesworld6 жыл бұрын
No, not really. I mean there are sometimes parents who are defensive over their children, but not anything particular to the beginning of the year. I am not "mean" or unreasonable at the beginning of the year. I am just firm and really focus on establishing expectations. It really is important in helping make sure that the remainder of the year runs as smoothly as possible.

itsmoniquesworld Thank you! I hear you- I am generally pretty firm too. I learned early on as a TA from a veteran teacher you have to be firm, especially in the beginning. I finally will be interviewing for teaching jobs this spring and was just wondering. Thank you for responding🤗
