In our country we call it guava season, because people spend so much money on food, home decorations, gifts, parties, paints, new kitchen appliances, furniture etc. January is what is left from christmas, then February is Carnival season, steelband, calypso, soca, mas, costume, street parade from one fete/party to the next 🇹🇹 this is life in my country.

Hi Nasto. During hot, sunny days in January, you can use pull-up straw shades on your veranda porch to keep cool. Plus, you have mirrored windows that reflect heat on the porch. You will also be able to see through the shades. ❤
