I have an EV6 GT and If if I drive it conservatively, I can get close to 300 miles on a charge and that’s in Normal mode with occasional bursts in GT mode. I do live in California where the weather is mild. I have been extremely surprised and pleased with the range - and the performance is mind-bending. it’s a wonderful car.

Cool, 300 miles is really good!! I didn't come close to that, but the weather of course is a factor for that.
@patrickmaartense777210 ай бұрын
miles or KM ? waan know how you do that, I have 16TKM in 3 months and 350KM is more realist with 90% highway
@dirkvanassche71029 ай бұрын
Exacly, with mine I'm happy with a 350 Km max range, when driving mostly in ECO
@virum14 ай бұрын
I also have one , and live in CT and can say 300 is achievable. But fun comes first.
@ItsOnlyElectric4 ай бұрын
@virum1 yes, that's the whole point with the car I guess and the right reason for owning one.

Nice video 👍😊 To be able to obtain the 3.5 seconds to 100km/h in the conditions shown in the video, you need to heat up the battery by using the Maximum Power Output mode (hidden in the menus). In temperatures as shown in the video, you normally “only” get around 500hp, and to get the full 585hp (it’s actually capable of delivering up around 620hp in small boosts) the battery has to be warmed up (and have a SOC above 70%). 😊
@ItsOnlyElectric10 ай бұрын
Thanks. Battery ok and warm also the SoC. But didn't know about the hidden menu. 👍
@andersteilmann800510 ай бұрын
@@ItsOnlyElectric Understandable, because it’s not easy to find if you don’t know where to look.👍 You can access it in the split screen menu in the main display, by swiping up or down through various info-screens until you reach the “Maximum Power Output” mode option… engage the button glowing at you, and wait for it to warm up the battery. 😊

With the full power mode selected and battery conditioned it's noticeably quicker. I've seen 3.2 to 60mph @@ItsOnlyElectric

If you want to get the range up, just put on 19-20" wheels and Tires with less stickyness than the original 21" Pilot Sport 4S's. With 19"s and low rolling resistance tires you can do 450km+ with ease.

You don't buy this car for efficiency, you but it for performance. Having said that, my wives GT is averaging 3.7mi/kwh right now after 1500 miles. It helps living in Florida too!

For the acceleration did you turn off all of the driving aids? Traction control and stability control off? Yes, the temperature is way too cold for optimum acceleration. The ground just isn’t warm enough, nor are the tyres. An ambient temperature of 25 degrees Celsius will get you to 3.5.
@ItsOnlyElectric8 ай бұрын
The gt mode turns off the traction control etc for you, but yes, better conditions would change the result.

Why have you got the aircon on in 10 degrees Celsius? In any part of Australia, in any season, that’s a temperature that requires heating or did you set the air conditioner to a temp of day 21 degrees Celsius? Either way, you would have gotten slightly better range with the aircon off completely.

I always do the same test and run ac on auto 20° C. Without ac there will be fog and too cold in the cabin. Not trying to hyper mile. 👍

No car should be as quick as the ev6 gt, I met a lady with one who says it's too fast and she Will lose her license if she's not very careful indeed. I'd just limit power to 250kw max, no questions.

Hello 👋 As some others of its kind, this car is more a show off from the manufacturer than anything else. It will be not the most sold on the market over their line up, but they need this type of car to say "look at what we can do and achieve". Plus, we need this kind of EV to put some fun in the game, just because EV still have this boring and insipide image, which they don't deserve Thanks for the review and the facts around this EV6 GT. Keep goin', your dedication will pay off 😊

after you get used to launching the car with no traction control getting below 3.5 is common without Drift mode in only GT mode. I wanted to ask do car manufacturers just round numbers for marketing? In the US 0-60mph in 3.50s is very very common for the GT. So if we are counting tenths of a second 0-97kph in 3.5s (vs 100kph) should be closer to achieve. Love the color and new lights!
