Great job Brother Danny. Just sharing with my cousin in Barbados. They said it is very expensive buying fish there. So I suggest their Fisheries and Agriculture Minister can do Trade with Guyana Fisheries Minister The Right Honourable MP Mr Denzil Roberts. 🎉🎉🎉 Take care of yourself and your family. God bless.

The first thing that caught my attention: anybody else surprised that eddoes are $200 per pound? And the same for sweet potatoes and plantains. That seems very high. With the new-found petrodollars, is a typical middle-management government/private sector salary about US$ 3,000 (or GY 625,463) per month? Except for the first few minutes of the man selling provision from his truck on the roadside, I just scrolled through the rest of the video.

Actually, $200 per pound is cheap. I paid $5.99 per pound at my local supermarket here in FL, and they are quite small and not as fresh. Sweet potatoes ain’t sweet and plantains not fully grown. Nice to see such abundance of vegetables and seafood

When you earn Guyana dollar it is EXPENSIVE.

The arial view is beautiful, however the market area looks like a shanty town, the ppl needs a better space ,the arial view shows their is a large amount of green space to the northern side, that area could be used to build a beautiful modern market space like St.Lawrence in Canada. So that the ppl could have a better safe modern space to sell, instead of being on the road shoulder which is risky.

I was there in feb of this year. I priced a gilbaka head just the head from the lady in the yellow shirt, and the woman wanted $60,000 GYD you could see the dishonesty in her face when she told me the price. Anyway, the new lenora market looks wonderful. You should check it out, sir.
