Guyanese living in New York gets all the food to buy. Yet when they go to Guyana they bring back all the fish and other food stuff. Here in England where I am we get very little or none. Back in 2004 I spent my vacation in Boston Massachusetts at some relatives that live there and in 1999, I attended a seminar in Houston Texas. On both of those occasions I would have in transited through Miami but never stopped over. So through your videos I'm getting to see places that I haven't been before.

Yes, thank you Denny for capturing some areas in QUEENS NEW YORK. Liberty is always a great place to visit. There are some Guyanese Bakeries, and food shops, restaurants there. It's fun to be there because you bump in to Guyanese and people in the Carribean, and India. A lot of Guyanese grew up hearing about little Guyana-liberty avenue. I am great full u are able to show this. This is our version of regent street. These is no little Trinidad unfortunately, we Guyanese were the first to inhabit/establish in queens. Even though we love our Trini brothers and sisters and we brought them into our fold. yes, you can find everything right here in the U.S where you have a large population of Guyanese.. I live in GA and there are Guyanese grocery stores that you can get banga, butter fish etc. that is from Guyana. Also, the farmers markets have bora, callaloo, bok choy etc and fruits like ginep, mamey, etc.
