IW truly had bad release timing. If it came out before BO3 or AW a lot of people wouldn't have given it so much unnecessary hate. The overall story, it's characters, the smoother movement system and the Jackal gameplay made this game amazing and revolutionary. And while the Monetization was aggressive with the supply drops and variants it was at least not half assed like it is now with the BPs and the Shop. If the Combat Rig designs were more streamlined, Jackal interactions in MP in form of Killstreaks were a thing and new content was introduced quickly after release then IW would've been a 10/10.

@@EUM_NEMESIS supply drops are relatively easy to get, you can get actual good guns to level and play some matches, but by far the best gamemode was infected. (The most calmest mode ever)

IW also had wall riding which was pretty cool and I remember putting trip mines on them and getting people extremely mad at me, overall multiplaywr was a solid 9.8/10 The campaign was a 10, I loved reyes and Ethan, they were both some pretty unique characters in THE COD franchise, but sadly vanguard and MWII ruined it, all Activision is basically doing is bringing back old characters and missions and making them look trash.

@@brickzy07 the MP defo has a lot of problems in terms of balance, connectivity and gunfight consistency which brought the quality down quite a bit. And wallrunning by itself wasn't really all that special. The jetpack boosting however was far better than in AW and BO3 by actually boosting you forward quickly which becomes even faster when exiting a wallrun with a good boost. And you didn't get stuck on teammates below you as well which was quite a problem in the previous 2 games.

Maybe when I was 12 or 13 I would have thought it was cool what is a grown man there's no way if there's anything remotely impressive about someone making a simple joke that their demise. When death really hits you in life and you realize it's not a game, it's not temporary, and it's truly just the end, it becomes horrifying.

It’s not abnormal at all for soldiers to joke about situations most people would find absolutely horrifying. Getting shot up bad and joking to the commanding officer “I always have been a bleeder, huh sarge?” really isn’t *that* far fetched. Everyone has different perspectives on life and death, what is terrifying to you is eternal bliss for another.
