Personally, I hate Disney's new penchant for making originally bad characters good. Cruella killed puppies to create coats, she is not good. She is a fashion designer in love with fur, with fur coats, at a time when it was okay to kill animals for their fur. Don't make her good, make her logical and bad, like she should has been at the time. Love your sims

I agree but I can’t deny that a lot of the fashion in the film was fantastic. I’m hoping that was a build up film to maybe her becoming even more corrupt? But also Disney would not be able to release a film where she skins puppies 😅

My favorite part of this video is when she speculates about Curella living in New York where it's "usually hot". No shade it just made me laugh. NY is pretty cold and 101 Dalmatians takes place in London. Its based on a book written by an English woman.

Your question about why villains have high cheekbones is because ✨shape language✨ villains are usually based off of triangles and sharp angles. Triangles represent power and action and unpredictable and evil and dangerous and so on. So villains tend to have sharper angles in their design. And princesses usually have softer features because they are based upon circle ⭕️. Circle shape language represents friendly and cute and approachable and harmless and kind and trustworthy. So princesses and protagonists and kids and such are usually made of circular shapes for their design. little cruella spoiler but in the movie, she kidnapped dalmatians and then do a show where she wear a spotted coat, that why the rumor of the dalmatians coat come from but we actually see that she did not , she just kept the dogs as pets

I love this! For Maleficent in the original she curses the kings newborn daughter (sleeping beauty) because she wasn't invited to the ceremony, and in the OG movie she's a banished pixie I believe? But in the Maleficent movie she had her wings stolen from her by her first love because he wanted to be king, so she cursed the baby as revenge against the king.

I mean this in the nicest way possible but I had no idea there were some people who genuinely love mullets. I don't tend to care what hair people have as long as they're happy, but if we are talking about attraction, they just don't do it for me. I live in Australia where half the male population have mullets and I don't think I've ever heard the phrase "I do love a good mullet." The reason why all the villains have defined cheekbones is because of shape language. There's a trick in character design where different shapes give off different moods. Triangular shapes will make you more cautious around the character, circular shapes make you feel more comfortable. Basically the defined cheekbones are there to trick your brain into not trusting the villain from the get go :)

36:34 they do that for villains because it’s much more sharp edges when they are doing the princesses and the heroes and stuff like that they use around in soft shapes but when they’re doing villains that you’re sharp like edges and like cut do you know what I mean and they also do that with colors like the “good guys “ generally have rider tones in the villains, have darker tones and colors and all that jazz. That’s why they do that. ☺️🫶
