I love how lived in this is! It's as if a few generations of survivors stayed there over the years, but weren't able to stay long. Nature really reclaimed the place on the outside.

@@Jessicapie The Zombie mod is from sacrificial mods, I used it last month when I did a Zombie Apocalypse save, I deleted all homes on every island, and all other sims. And placed in alot of abandoned and trashed houses from the gallery aswell as the walking dead prison, hilltop, and some other walking dead buildings people had put on the gallery, and also added alot of the walking dead character sims people had made also. When you activate the mod you can put on a gas mask to protect yourself, as to start you call in a bomb that activates the zombies, but without the mask you will turn also lol. Learned that the hard way! 🤣 The Zombies start spawning in everywhere in your neighbourhood, its awesome. You get to choose your survival team members and choose your settings for if you want to equip weapons, auto shoot on site, auto scavenge items etc. So much fun!

This build is so gorgeous… but imagining this as a scenario is kind of hilarious. Like. These totally chill werewolves living next door just seeing this absolutely kitted out apocalypse survival house going up, so very confused as to what these people are preparing for? Like these weirdo humans just move into your sunny, sweet werewolf town and you try bringing them a pie, and they completely flip out? It would be a great book / tv series

Truly, this is what the Sims was always meant to be, at least for me. Its like when we were young and playing with dolls, imagining any story we could possibly think of for our dolls and just having fun. This build and you voiceover is just so fun. Building a house inspired by your own fantasy of what a zombie apocalypse would be like and its perfect

Tiny nit pick that was gonna make me lose my mind-- the kettle on the fireplace was actually there to fill up with water so you can easily put out the fire if needed! It honestly would be very needed considering how flammable most of the build can be with all of that old wood, haha. either way, this is insanely detailed and fantastic looking. The room with the desk and all the supplies. I'd be calling that area for taking in inventory. Great build by the way. Also, during the apocalypse I'd be taking in people of different skills. A doctor, farmer, a homeless person (shockingly a homeless person knows survival skills too). My place to live would be in a brick building that has an emergency escape exit out the back. Using the roof top also as a way to occupy and use a telescope. Collect rain water, so on and so forth. I totally get your concept tho.

i haven't drawn in a while and this build just makes me feel. so inspired. thank you for the time and love and effort poured into this video. it reminds me of historical castles and fortresses with all these mismatched people crammed together for the sake of safety, doing their best to improve their living standards. the post-apocalypse stories i consume are all pirated + translated chinese webnovels so it's interesting to get a glimpse of the similarities and differences. i love your approach to cluttering-working out what chunks you want, taking out a bunch of items, and then tetris-ing them into the space-it's very much from the perspective of someone who needs to store their haul somewhere, and that kind of planning is something i haven't seen in speed builds before (though i haven't seen many speed builds in the first place). i also like how you made a little palette for the exterior walls and how you'd take out different counters and pick the one that looks right. i'm a very visual person and i love the process™ i typed for too long! now i have to rewatch to get inspired again... how terrible /s

I mean, the strangerville infection IS similar to zombification! Interacting with possessed sims makes them scared and tense, this type of build would work as a petrified sim(s) house trying to figure out the strangerville infection! Also this build is incredible, keep up the work!

Oh this is perfect! I’ve been obsessed with Resident Evil lately (the games), so it’s cool that you just decided to build this! I’ve been trying to build the police station from RE 2 Remake for about a year now, and it’s been so difficult 😭 There are virtually no pictures online of what the building looks like on the outside, and I have a Mac so I can’t play the game myself, I have to rely on pictures and let’s plays 😅 (Would highly recommend Resident Evil btw. If you don’t enjoy playing those types of games, I always love watching someone else do it. Symbalily on YT is doing her first blind play through of RE 2 right now, and I’ve been really enjoying it!)

With the For Rent expansion coming soon, this feels like a PERFECT opportunity to use it! Having the landlord assigned as the "leader" of the community would give us such interesting gameplay and having interactions between each member as tenants would be super cool!

I'm only about four minutes in and i already love this build for me though, i got neat ideas to like- i'm probably gonna take this build and keep the same general shape of it, but change the roof types and decoration and make it look like a sort of studio ghibli type of overgrown garden-y house? I'm not great at putting my thoughts to words at times so i can't really explain it well basically just, what was made in the video, but a lot more cozy

Build looks amazing. Great use of details to really flesh it out. And the roof hack on the watch tower is smart as hell. I gotta figure out if some of these clutter placement hacks are doable on console. Just got back into the game recently and finding item placement a real pain at certain points.
