yeah... in 00s when i was in high school bolero was short and open in the front,long or short sleeve whatever bolero now is just a short top with long sleeves or sleeveless but its not open front it depends on the generation 😂

Если это для тепла, то слишком редкое плетение, если же для прохладной погоды, то нитки толстоваты. Такой топ лучше вязать из х/бумажных, не очень толстых ниток. Но идея в целом хорошая !

I made one with a Granny stitch and cuz I have a large chest I made it go over my chest and it looks like a super cute little crop sweater! So cute over dresses at night in the summer! I basically used the Granny Square Sweater by "mj's off the hook designs" for the pattern without adding the sleeves. It is so cute! I used a blue variegated yarn so it changed colors on its own and made it look like I intentionally added color changes, lol. I think mj' tutorial was called " the Granny Pop sweater" or something like that. She has great KZbin tutorials, definitely check her out!.

This did work but it it is not the same for me I think it is because I used the wrong yarn. You was left with something similar but not good enough to wear as a top alone so I will be wearing mine as a swimsuit coverup this summer because it is still so cute

I would consider it more of a 'closed Shrug'. Lovely piece. Bolero is definitely more of a tiny jacket. Love the idea she shows, though. Could imagine that bottom edge beaded with clear glass the same shade as the yarn. Or frosted glass beads. Or, tiny pearls.

I used the same yarn but started with white and changed to blue for the sleeves! My sleeves were a lot longer tho with flared cuffs😅😅

Ive been trying different patterns for this design. What I’m having trouble with is the shoulders area. Any suggestions?

I did one shoulder right after doing the front panel then cut and tie off! Then start the other shoulder, I made sure to end the shoulder with a row going back towards the neck. Then chain how many ever chains are on the front panel neck (stitches between both shoulders) and then continue your pattern on the first shoulder. This is just how I made this one but I hope it helps!

Hi!! No everything is 1 single panel! I worked on the front first, then did one shoulder. Once the shoulder was done, I cut and tied off and started on the other shoulder. Once the other shoulder was done I started on the back piece and connected the shoulders without cutting my yarn. If you’re a bit confused I used the same technique in my Amazon bolero video on my channel!❤️

Awe haha when I make the arm holes I only connect about 1 or 2 stitched from the corners of the front and back panels. Then I crochet in rounds until I get the length I want. I posted I tutorial recently where I explain in detail everything!!🩷🩷🩷
