If you want to be in the Software field go for CSe but be careful from 1st year onwards you have to put at least 3-4 hours a day on technologies & DSA at 4th year you can get 12+ LPA job ...but software is changing rapidly you have to be adaptable ECE has less opportunities right now but it is going to have big trend in future ... But choose cse it over ece if you don't care about the robotics & iot projects that you can do & get job in ... Depends on job you want to do If you are going to choose cse This can be your roadmap Start with java or c++ for the problem solving & DSA Choose python or javascript for development Sql & nosql must Python development fields -> Datascience, data analysis, cloud computing, big data, devops Javascript -> ui/ux, frontend, backend, api, database, cloud, devops DSA + development (python or javascript) is must For DSA practice them on in this stepwise First 1 month online compiler 2nd month -> hackerrank or codechef After that slowly switch to { GFG practice, coding ninjas codestudio, leetcode} Never lose hope & work for your future Having a headstart compared to your classmates will get you far in the long run

i don't think there are much placement opportunities in either btech cse or BCA but haan if you have interest in programming and coding and can learn them through online resources then BTech cse is good. Also you can prepare for GATE exam for masters.

Cgpa is not important College reputation is important IIT/NIT get preference If you are from tier-3 then 65% is minimum for your graduation No company commonly asks above this Only thing you should keep in kind is to have relevant skills according to JD & to bypass ATS & having hands-on experience to backup those skills during interviews DSA is must
