Nothing beats hard work. What we perceive as intelligence is nothing but hard work our brain is doing in the background which is pattern matching and memorization. There is a book called Moonwalking with Einstein where the author shares his techniques for learning fast. Anyone can do it with enough hard work and basic intelligence.

I totally get your point about hardwork but natural intelligence is a thing bro. I have seen myself even after working so much hard for jee and all I couldn't get through. Naturally Intelligent people always deny the fact. But this is the lesson that every average person learns at some age. Of course I am taking nothing from hard work, obviously I have seen improvement in myself after working so hard. When I went to tier 3 college I was much ahead from rest. Like it depends yk, like Indian salarys in blr and mumbia is good, now it depends what you want to do in life, in usa it is best to go if you want to presue research based roles althought in India, those roles are fewer in number, also if you are earning more than 40lpa(I am) then the life is pretty much good, like depends, I am going to us to change my field to finance like quant as those roles are few in india and people do not stick to it long like people quit it in 1-2 years, I want to build a long career in it, so I would go to usa for this (I am also an IITian(old iit and electrical thought) and going for master in US next year)

bro not everyone wants to become an entreprenuer and not everyone can. there are different batches and branches in iit and if you see the total no of startups coming from iit they are more than any college in India. IIT delhi has a startup culture and people who want to do a startup mostly go there so you may find the folks you think dont exist there. they both earn good money and get equity from their companies which a startup doing avg business in India may not earn. people do go for startup but you should understand its not meant for everyone and not everyones goal

This guy is really the textbook definition of "stuck in college" except in this case he goes a step further to get stuck in a mere examination which GRANTS you admission into colleges. Makes you realise how small, narrow and short some people's worlds really are. The sad part is, they're creating an entire generation of kids who're gonna be obsessed with such shallow complexes and lack the ability to think anything beyond marks and ranks

But u r right thoo the world is filled with dimvit subhoomans who made the planet a haariible place so that thinking beyond academia has become a necessity.

it's really not about a college or an exam, just like how its not just about getting published in international journals as a researcher or landing a FAANG job as a CS student. These are accolades which you can achieve via concentrating your efforts towards a certain field. The work is what that matters, and narrow-mindedness does exist, definitely in students which are still preparing for these things, especially in the ones who have no chance of achieving these. But once you get past that stage, there's no one who doesn't realize how things work beyond that limit. You can obviously apply a similar "These things require a huge amount of effort to achieve, and they isolate people in their ecosystems, so its wrong to do that" to Olympiads, ICPC, or practically any real achievement, but irl people who have done all this are the ones who make the change.
