I don't get how anyone can say Rogue was terrible.. Shay's story is one of the best in the series and the way it ties into AC3, Black Flag, and Unity is really neat. Only complaint I had was it wasn't long enough.

Rogue took the winning formula and mechanics of a naval AC game that was set up in Black Flag and totally perfected everything about it. Its gameplay truly is like a completely polished version of Black Flag. Had it not been released at the same time as Unity, I think Rogue would be placed right up there with Black Flag in terms of popularity. I just finished the Rogue last night and I believe it is basically the perfect formula for an old school AC game. It was just a ton of fun and a great new take on the series.

YESSS, Rouge's exploration and side quest are superb! You also get to experience a lot of terrain, from city, to mountain, to forest, to sea, to tundra, to artic, and many more. My fav AC game 🎉

I remember playing this game, but somehow never finished it. So thanks, another game added to my backlog🤣 it does look like a real fun one, so will definitely go back to this one at some point. So funny your comment when your ship didn't want to level. Made me think of this: "Waves, the halfpipes of the ocean"🤣 Since you are asking for recommendations. Have you ever heard of the alphabet challenge? Don't know if that's something you like, but it's getting the platinum for a game each responding to a letter in the alphabet. So for example any AC can be your A, Battlefield for B, Code Vein for C etc. And you can set the rules as you like. For example, non of the games can be shuffleware, challenge has to be finished within 60 days, can't use a guide etc. Again, don't know if this is something you would like, but I thought, lets throw it out there. Rogue is one of my favorite of the bunch. Loosing only to AC 2. Shay is probably the best protagonist they've ever put out. The way he queations it the way of the assassins and all the diatruction arround him. You feel the weight and dissapointment in hir voice. I love this game a lot!❤

Yeah I feel like Shay had a lot more guilt, and a lot more on his shoulders than any other templar.. and he clearly felt he had more control as a templar instead of with the assassins who are always on the defence

My focus during the legendary ship battles is to get a few of the smaller ships knocked out and ready to board so that you can go and repair your ship mid-battle when your health is low. Usually works pretty well that way in my experience.

i usually stayed slightly behind and to the right of the legendary ships and we would circle eachother trading mortar shots and heavy shot at every possible interval . worked for me but i also went out of my way to fully upgrade my ship before taking them on

@@hellatubbies882yt I fully upgraded as well. But yeah, having some damaged ships ready to be boarded so that I can repair my ship in the middle of a big battle was always my winning formula. Otherwise I just blast them with mortars from a good distance away and try to outrun their own shots.

Now, I would consider myself a quite good player of Assassin's Creed and all its different systems over the years, but honestly, the Storm Fortress is the closest the series has ever been to a Soulsborne boss. It took me literally an hour and a half of constant retries and trying different strategies until I had finally beaten it. Once it was done, my hands were sweaty as hell and I actually started laughing because of the rush of euphoria I experienced. As frustrating as it was during actual play, THIS is exactly the kind of emotions video games should give you.

Nice! So it was already on your mind completing them. Excited to watch. Do you have points about valhalla what to expect and prepare for? Also if you would want to complete like an rpg kind of game I would recommend skyrim or even fallout 4 (unless you already platinumed them), keep the good content coming, I always enjoyed whenever you uploaded cause it gives me games that I can try to platinum, cause im going down the platinum path (currently on 30 plats and trying to get at least 100).

Points for Valhalla.. prepared to be bored, the gameplay is very repetitive and the map is way too big.. but its not unplayable, the game works well enough.. but the world is way too big for a AC game. But unless you plan on doing all ACs I dont recommend doing it, I'd say literally all other ACs are better! hope this helps!

If nothing else...Achilles' brotherhood honestly deserved it. I mean sure Shay could probably do better on the communication side of things, but it's clear they've had zero respect for the guy for pretty much his entire time as one of their recruits. And after he left they were practically terrorists. EDIT: I do like the mission of his betrayal ends by falling off a cliff and landing hard. Leap of faith doesn't work without the faith. The first and last mission objectives of the game as well (other than the Paris glitches) are both to kill Liam as well.

woah.. bold statement, I think Achilles alone didnt deserve it but the rest of his brotherhood did, none of them respected Shay and it took Shay nearly destroying them for Achilles to finally admit he was right and still Liam tried to argue "what does he know". It really is a great story, and I didnt think about that leap of faith thing either tbh.. the more you look into the story the more you realise its probably the best written story of the lot

Personally, the start of this video is why I always want people to try a game before they bash it. Because with my friend group, when I got into AC everyone said to skip Rogue and go straight to Unity/Syndicate because they didn't play it and assumed Shay was gonna be a Templar from the start and that it'd basically just be Haytham's segment of 3 all over again. I'm so glad I didn't skip Rogue.

I think I commented last time saying I was going back to this soon. I did pick up the other day, which DOES also have a platinum - Assassins Creed Chronicles Trilogy. I have no idea what it’s like except is some Vita games. After some research, if you buy each game separately then they don’t have plats, but the trilogy pack has one combined platinum. Currently working on and almost finished Saints Row.

I'm kind of saddened that, since they began including trophies, I've only platinumed two games- AC2 & Spyro 1 of the reignited trilogy. I had once planned to make a concerted effort with the AC games & was pretty confident after getting AC2, but you have all the multi-player stuff, which I can't do anymore, along with a few other online connectivity issues for Black Flag, missions get much harder to 100% sync after they started adding multiple constraints in Revelations &, sometimes corners were cut on programming for stuff outside the main stories that they must have thought barely anyone would bother with, anyway, so they can sometimes be rampant with glitches. I managed to unlock everything in Brotherhood & 100% the constraints on all the main game missions, only to realize that the dlc trophies were glitched & the game wouldn't give them to me. Then I gave up & tried Revelations, got most of it done, but too many things were too difficult for me, so I skipped to AC3 & found out that I can't even figure out half of what the game wants me to do to get some of the trophies & just gave up. I did go back recently to find that installing a new hard drive on my PS3 & transferring over the contents of the old one fixed the issue with Brotherhood's DLC trophies, so I went back through & got a few of those done, as well as finished 100% sync on the 3 DaVinci Disappearance missions I had left, only to realize that, for the 100% sync trophy, I also had to get the War machines missions (one of which is damned near impossible, for me & beyond irritating to even attempt, because the constraints only applies to the last 5 minutes & failure means doing the entire mission over again) & the Thief & Courtesan Missions, which I didn't even know was a thing, until last night, so...

I really enjoy watching your AC Platinum series and if you're looking for any new game is to make a series about I highly recommend the Watch Dogs series that includes Watch_Dogs Watch_Dogs 2 and Watch Dogs Legion though Watch Dogs Legion it's better experienced with the season pass since you get the Assassin's Creed character the main protagonist from the first game a side protagonist from the second game and a character with telepathy as well as the bloodlines DLC story prequel but yeah I can't recommend this series enough

The reason haytham doesn't mention him in Assassin's Creed 3 is because in that game he wasn't even part of the order before you're playing asthan or when you're playing as haytham and also he had gone somewhere else by the time you're playing as Connor and meeting whats his face haytham

I enjoyed that game so much. Great story great setting great gameplay great open wold great activities. Thats when the ubisoft formula used to be done right.

TRUEEEEEEEEEEE! Both sides seem pretty bad and make a lot of mistakes, its really put the assassins in a new light. It really feels like neither of them want the best for mankind, except for a few people like Desmond

I really enjoyed this title. From what I've heard Unity was originally supposed to be Arno teaming with Connor in order to find and kill Shay, but for whatever reason it changed. I was very disappointed with Unity and really wish the story was different. In my opinion Unity was utter garbage.

Not sure what you're asking. I didnt miss it on purpose.. I've been doing the AC plat's in order. which is why on the channel I've done Ezio trilogy, AC3, Liberation & Rogue, then next will be Black Flag.. if you're asking why I missed it out in the past, I didn't I completed it and played it a lot but never got the platinum, hope that answered your question dude!

Well I also miss 3 platinum trophies of Assassins Creed. The first is obvious AC 1 since you would need to have a PS3 and since I don't own one I don't have the trophy. But I have all popint on 360 :D Second would be all multiplayer trophies of AC4 Black Flag Third would be the Koop missions in Unity and 4th is Syndicate... I don't know hat it is about that game because the setting is great but I never got further than the 3 mission. And after getting a PS5 and selling my PS4 I couldn't play Syndicate anymore without getting an seizure thanks to a grafical bug.
