Assassin's Creed Syndicate's PLATINUM made me LORD of LONDON!

Syndicate was the last AC game before they changed the formula, actually having proper stealth! It was definitely worth my time! A great game in the series! The Platinum for this game isn't too long and is fairly straight forward, a good one for anyone to go for! Ubisoft did a good job with this one! And have represented 18th century London brilliantly!
1868 London, England. Playing as both the Frye twins, Jacob and Evie, we take down Crawford Rannick and his Templars, meeting many historical figures along the way. Even taking a trip to 1916 and defeating Templars in WWI alongside Winston Churchill.

AC Syndicate is my second favorite AC game behind Black Flag. Just something about the entire atmosphere and setting of the game; London in this era is a joy to explore.

@@NC-Project I'm glad you had an amazing time playing it. The WW2 era glitch was one of my favorite parts....maybe later in the future we could get a AC Syndicate sequel set during the cold war era/early 1980s/90s with the Frye's descendants and could improve upon the gang management aspect of it.

​@lazytitan99 I had 2 game ideas if your interested at all? Sorry I am a massive syndicate die hard, so I do get around the comments pages. Anyway, for Jacob, late 1800s paris and London. Tie the story between the settings. Paris sees artistic revolution, while the workers engage in massive riots, and this also sees the birth of modern terrorism. Of course this would drive Jacob away from that movement, and make him question his own values. Which would be cool. In London, a real life cult was growing, and it believed in a set of supreme beings based on pagan gods. This would be easy to tie into AC lore. Historical figures would also include Van Gogh, who again, would be easy to tie into AC lore, and super interesting. For Evie, 1870s India, during the rebellions. Its a very clear idea why this would be cool, but for story it could fix alot about her character. Giving her a conflict where she has to deal primarily with the people's struggle, instead of chasing artefacts again. It would be cool to see this more real world based conflict with her growing from that.

⁠@@lazytitan99unfortunately we won’t get any games set in the 20th century ever, before Origins was announced Ubisoft denied any chance of a game ever happening. Partly because the closer to the present they get the less AC lore makes sense from a writing perspective, and mostly because it’s just filled with topics that are a little.. much for the games (but they’ll do them constantly in the books and comics however)

This game wasn't well received at the time which is why Ubi listened to the so called fans and changed the formula of the franchise. Which is funny cause you have similar issues going on with the far cry fanbase who are calling for the far cry games to change but will cry when it does fundamental change.

Yeah assassin's creed's changes worked out tbf even though they're going more stealth again with mirage, but far cry will be a huge risk if they change that😅

I wouldn’t mind if far cry just turned the open world more into a thing. Like add survival abilities like hunting and fishing for food and having the protagonist be more represented whether its by choices without words just something to make us feel more in tune with our character

This is my favorite ac game by far, and it makes me sad i need 100 sync for the platinum, but i lost my save after going to ps5 and have felt like replaying it since ive already have a bunch of times now. After i finished the plat on Mirage, im gonna go and finish the plat on unity. Since i really love that game and dont have many trophies left

I really loved Syndicate. While i believe that Origins was necessary to flesh out the "origins"(lmao) of the brotherhood i think that Odyssey and Valhalla was just not needed at all. Maybe they just created those games to give Layla her own trilogy and to dive a bit deeper into gods (isu) and to make a bit more open world games and a chance to mess around more with different armor and weapons. I really hope they wont add a fuck tonne of unrealistic abilities into Mirage. The "teleportation" from Basim being "too fast" for the animus to handle, giving the illusion of teleportation, is enough. I understand that he is the reincarnation of a god but come on? I hope the game after Mirage actually goes back to the roots of Assassin's Creed games

Well done, one of my favorite episodes on the channel to date! I highly recommend the “Jack the Ripper” DLC too! “The Order 1886” could be any other interesting one to add to the list at some point.

I'm curious. As a massive AC syndicate fan, and I mean I bloody love the base game. I hated the jack the ripper dlc. It ironically ripped all that made syndicate special, and to focus so much on one creep who killed 5 people? Below the frye twins pay grade, no matter how the writers tried to spin it. It felt low key offensive aswell in several ways. One of which is making the ripper victims into assassin's. They were real life victims, not real life killers. I hated that part. And to have assassin's creed's first and now only canon gay/bisexual man as protagonist, to end up in a victorian asylum? How out of touch and offensive do ubisoft wanna be? That only added fire to my dislike of evie. She was annoying in the bass game, but seeing how poorly ubisoft regarded Jacob in that dlc, just killed evie for me. I literally dislike seeing her now. It felt hypocritical that they could pull the "inclusive" card for her, while the franchise only character of a minority group (lgbt) was getting disrespected like that. And even in the story, evie was always gaslighting and being nasty to her brother. It felt awful to play, especially as I have a brother I'd never treat that badly. I suppose the tone was better in the dlc, than the base game? But it was little comfort to be honest. So what is it that some people love about it so much? Because most hard core syndicate fans either hate the dlc or love it. I guessed it could be that evie fans love it, and Jacob fans hate it? But I feel it must go deeper than that.

That is a shame about the dlc, I feel the same, prefer Jacob but they're both great, must be why they let you choose one or the other in more modern AC games :P

@NC Project it's sad because we end up with "canon kassandra and female eivor" under the grounds they were the original planned protagonists (tho that statement still lacks evidence on ubisofts part) yet we have the evidence and proof to know for a fact Jacob was the only planned protagonist for syndicate, and evie was simply his mentor. She wasn't a playable protagonist at all. Infact we can see she had more in common with Roth then herself in the final game! Scared face, grey hair and all. So it's a bit of a double standard that Jacov doesn't get the dlc in his own game, but kassandra gets to be in all of odyssey. Just shows ubisoft don't care about what was planned at all, and they certainly don't value their fans opinions. Ah well, atleast base game syndicate, and the dreadful crimes are really good. (Sorry I don't mean to be negative, just frustrated with ubisofts hypocrisy.)
