NOW we know why you are a Great Tour Guide. You made us all feel like we were there right there with you.. And spending the time for history of the cave. Having the Google address helps also. That is a work out all those steps. Bought You 2 coffee's to drink while you look at that view.

Have been in Kanchanaburi several times, last one in September 2019, and I absolutely love it there. I did not visit this temple you mention in your video, but I visited another one, which is not far, and also in a cave : Wat Tham Khao Pun (วัดถ้ำเขาปูน). I was very impressed during the visit, and found the place absolutely amazing ! If you did not visit this one too, you really should have a go : worth it ! That day, I rented a long-tail boat in Kanchanaburi, and the "driver" took me to the JEATH Museum (alongside the river), Chung Kai War Cemetery (had the same feeling there as I had during the Colleville-sur-Mer Cemetery, in Normandy, or when visiting Dachau in Germany : my heart was feeling totally heavy) and to this temple. It was a September 2017 hot sunny day, very hot (got sick the day before due to sunstroke : my fault, as I had a long walk in the sun without any kind of cap or hat)... I remember when I visited Wat Tham Khao Pum, the guy told me he will stay in the boat, waiting for me. A long moment after (I went quite deep in the cave, until it was becoming a bit small for me to go through... I was totally fascinated and amazed by the place : so beautiful and special), I came out of the cave, and found the guy having a nap in his boat... he heard me arriving, but he was looking so tired that I invited for a drink near the temple (there was a kind of bar, serving refreshments), and we had a very long and interesting talk there. He talked me lot about his life, the region, the people of the region, and it was so interesting : this is why when I travel in Thailand, I really love and enjoy meet and mix with the local people (there is no better way to learn things about a country than doing so) ! This afternoon is probably one of my best souvenirs of Thailand... hope go there next September 2021 again ! So thank you for this video, as it reminded me very good souvenirs of Kanchanaburi !

Thank you so much for this video Teya! Like the video you made about the bridge in Bangkok, it is again an inspiring surprise to see something new for me and my wife in Kanchanaburi - having been there several times... another place definitely worth visiting, as soon as we are allowed to visit Thailand without the (currently mandatory) 2 weeks of quarantine. Again thank you!

Hi Teya, Good video enjoy your beautiful personality shineing through once again. I have booked holidays in Thailand January 2021 and hopefully l can come. Unfortunately the C19 cases are rising once again in the U.K. I fear for my holiday, yet l fear more for the beautiful people of Thailand. In 2008 during the banking crisis l lived and ran a business in Marbella Spain I employed over 50 people so continued their employment dispite little or no work availible In 2010 my Spainish company was liquidated along with thousands of other ex pat companies. Marbella, Spain has still not recovered. Hotels still closed, thousands of empty holiday apartements RichTurists were encouraged back, but few of the ordinary people have benefit Normal turists found Turkey, Thailand and the Caribbean, so have not returned in large numbers. I want Thia people to stay safe, However l hope your government dont kill the Turist, golden goose. Keep safe and keep smiling Teya, Best Regards Jeffrey Wood
