From going to car stereo competitions I know that most lower frequencies below 40hz to about 30hz are almost inaudible without a nice stereo system so I normally tune my kicks to about 45 hz and keep the sub bass at the same level unless you are trying to emphasize some super lows like during a bass heavy drop or build
