Hmm, Heya Swede Potato Pie (I enjoyed typing that out) I'm now wondering if I should be the person to say? At the risk of now drawing potentially unwanted attention, I'll just say it used to be called St James's and has had a couple of refurbs since it's been about - I'm really excited about it as a venue, they've had some cool stuff through and they've looked out for the under 25s with cheap tickets in the past, as a local I love the idea of being able to pop out to the theatre as one might go to the cinema :) hurrah for affordable arts! :D

The atmosphere for the first preview was insane. I was in the third row, two seats away from the very centre of the stage. I can't really put into words how the audience reacted throughout the show but I can guarantee that many people were starting to lose their voices by the end. You could clearly see how much the cast and crew love this show. It was a pleasure to briefly talk to you after the show. Also, Andy is hilarious and an absolute legend!

I was at the first preview night in the second row and it was AMAZING!! I didn’t know anything about Heathers before going in so I really didn’t have any expectations, but damn was it not one of the best performances I’ve ever seen! The audience was even singing along in the intermission. Carrie you were fabulous! As were the rest of the cast and orchestra 💙💙 Even from the audience perspective there was an energy in that theatre I’ve never witnessed before. Booking another ticket to come back and see it again soon!

I agree with tech week being the hardest part of the rehearsal process. I’ve never been in any professional shows or anything just high school shows and community theatre but tech weeks are always sooooooo stressful. But it’s totally worth it in the end.

saw the show on sunday for my 21st birthday and was absolutely blown away - i have loved you and heathers for yeeears so when this show was announced I was thrilled, but it exceeded my expectations even then!!
