I saw Carrie as Fantine. My mum, who's a long-time superfan of Les Miserables, didn't think that anyone could sing 'I dreamed a dream' better than the original. Carrie Hope Fletcher, I kid you not, your spectacular performance made my mum cry from happiness. And I didn't see you as Veronica, so seeing you live with such an iconic song was what I was most excited about the whole day :-) Thank you for being so awesome! And good luck for your next show!

I was lucky enough to come and see the show last night. It was weird seeing Carrie not playing Eponine, but she made a fantastic Fantine too! The show was amazing, and I think the music from the concert is actually better than the full production. I guess as they have to concentrate less on staging they can focus more on the music. Also Carrie was so lovely at stage door, such a privilege to meet you yesterday ❤️

Tessi M there is less physical set and the staging is different to the full production. They’re all still in costume but most of the time they just sing in to microphones at the front of the stage although there are a few exceptions. There isn’t as much moving around either and the cast sit on the stage on tiered seated for most of the performance. Also the band is seating up above the stage in view of the audience which is interesting to watch too.

I have been lucky enough to have seen Les Mis twice already, we only planed on going the one time on Saturday 17th, but were walking past the Gielgud as people were going into the theatre for the matinee on Tuesday 20th and my mum said "should we ask the box office if they have any tickets?" and just like that we were watching it again. You are absolutely flawless as Fantine! The entire cast is so perfect, the production is just incredible. xx

Carrie, I saw you in the Les Mis Concert this evening and...oh my goodness. I’m so disappointed I didn’t get to see you afterwards because I really wanted to thank you for such an incredible show. I was so moved, and brought to tears many many times, partly just in awe of it all. And your voice, it’s just so wonderfully beautiful and I think I will always remember that final scene as Fontine appeared to Jean Varjon, just like an angel. I couldn’t help but cry, you did it so so well, and though I’m sure you hear this all the time and must know it by now, I just had to say so too. But really, it is such an amazing show and I will remember it forever. I hope someday I can thank you in person. A lot of emotions took place this evening, and I am so grateful. You were absolutely amazing, it’s obviously a very emotional role anyway but you brought such a tenderness and we really felt every emotion that Fantine was experiencing. Hi Carrie, I just love seeing the behind the seens stuff in your vlogs, I am a real theatre buff, even though I have never been to a show in my life, I think it's just in my blood as both my parents were actors in the Danish theatre before I was born. It is something I have always dreamed of doing but unfortunately my mother was always dead set against it. I came on the Wednesday with my mum, we both love Les Mis and the concert was amazing. You and everyone else were fantastic!
