Look at what Adidas has done! They have launched 2 versions of each jersey. First one is official jersey that our ICT players wear, and another is fan version. OG jersey is expensive costing up to 4999 Rs. Fan jersey is in lower range, costing up to 1200 Rs. This is a great pricing strategy!

Living in US for 25+ years, I have seen Nike go from progressive sports apparel company to being a liberal woke brand that happens to sell mediocre or low quality products. The management of the company have no clue about athleticism and sportsmanship and they constantly sponsor controversial athletes from NFL and NBA. They Nike Jordan has become its own brand and took more then half of all shoe sales with it. Nike seems to focus more on their political ideology than their products. In US, people are willing to spend half their monthly income on expensive $600-1000 shoes for the sake of brand, even if the quality is mediocre at best. Here the brands have become part of identity. Just like you mentioned(in the video), the average Indian is more practical and will not spend his savings on an expensive but mediocre product just for brand name.
