We don't need to hope for the growth of foreign brands. Focus on growing brands like bata, sparx, liberty, canvas. They make extremely good and simple long lasting shoes for affordable prices which is what indians need. Nike, reebok, addidas are not even considered luxury brands and produce sub par quality expensive overly fancy products. There is literally no need for the products they put out anywhere in the world. 😊

Reebok's of 90s and 2000s shoes were niche. Still some nice Adidas- Reebok collabs are available online at Amazon, Flipkart etc. I still see so many Reebok showrooms in smaller cities. But people prefer Adidas and Puma. Nike too. I don't think Aditya Birla can revive Reebok unless they start providing quality hi-tech shoes at very reasonable prices. The brand name isn't enough. Adidas is too big a competitor.
