What won me over is itto’s personality. That’s one of the major reasons why I pulled for him he’s so funny I love him. I’m glad I pulled for him because since I got him he’s helped my team out a lot. Before, Kazuha was the one carrying my team but now he can rest for a bit since he hasn’t left my party since his release

My favorite character, no competition. Max Mittleman did such an outstanding job voicing Itto, he gave him so much personality. And even as a playable unit, I've never felt that a character has ever deserved three crowns more than my boy Itto, imo. Gave them to him the minute I got him, no regrets.

Funny thing is, the lost of his vision didn't effect him. It only fueled his ambition to challange sara to a sumo wrestling match in accordance to oni traditions. You can find his challange notice sometimes on the bulletin board near the adventurer guild. The tenryouu comm often arrested him for harrassment because of it lol

It's funny that he thought winning a sumo match against Sara would make her give his Vision back. He viewed it the same way as the games he plays with kids - the loser has to give something to the winner. That's probably what happened in the first place. He may have actually handed his Vision to Sara after she defeated him, as a way to lose honorably. If so, that could explain why losing his Vision didn't affect him. The fisherman at Wangshu Inn is fine, and he threw away his Vision of his own accord. The guy in Komore Teahouse is also fine, after giving his Vision to Kamisato Ayato because he lost a duel to Ayato. I've seen a theory that you actually get affected negatively if you rely on your Vision too much, but that Komore Teahouse NPC mentions he had obsessions before giving his Vision to Ayato, so I'm not so sure.

It also reflects in his gameplay. His kit revolves around his normal and charged attacks and his skill is just throwing a bull out into battle. The only actual Geo thing he does is his burst, which just converts his attacks from Physical to Geo and makes his normal and charged attacks hit harder.

I thought Itto's story would be jokes and memes I wasn't ready for a rollercoaster of emotions. That ending specifically made me tear up not tears of sadness but coz I'm proud of Itto too ❤️

I loved Itto's quest so much. Max's voice acting for Itto felt so natural, it's like having an actual conversation and not a plain script reading. But as someone with allergies, I felt so bad for Itto during the bean-tossing moment. We could have just beaten him in a duel fair and square instead of underhanded means.

Indeed. She has a key hole on her upper back near her neck, and it's in the same spot as the Raiden Shogun puppet's electro mark, which makes me think Katherine is a puppet just like Raiden Shogun is.

You know why Sango specifically told us the story of the Red Oni and Blue Oni out of nowhere at the start? From past quests, seeing how she's very good being an arm-chair detective, I bet Sango predicted about the whole situation from the start (more or less) from pieces of info she could get her hands on. But she didn't do anything since she hated doing things by herself. Then the Traveler showed up...

armchair detective... what to mean by that...? only asking cause i see people too often using armchair detective in a negative way as in they are no good lazy people who dont life a finger and let others do it all while they take the credit.. xb not saying thats what u mean by that.. hence why im asking lol butt if mean it in like a storytelling term... then yes... cause it allows us the player/reader to go meet and discover itto ourselves... and also all previous quests and those after words.. follow that same storytelling method.. cause thats the solo reason she's an "armchair" detective.. its for OUR benefit.. the "reader" so to speak.. meaning she actually does everything herself butt for the sake of storytelling which gives us the players the abiltiy to actually play and do the stuff... she written in a way where she just happens to KNOW more then she should at times just from hearsay thus we the reader/player do the foot work for content lmao xD and/or shes not playable character butt WE are .. thus sango and the player are both armchair... where in the reader is taken along the investigations and learns with the detective.. so its actually like mix and match in a way... pretty clear tbh consider this qoute ""If the art of the detective began and ended in reasoning from an arm-chair, my brother would be the greatest criminal agent that ever lived." its a qoute from Holmes in a book... and note how Sango in the end of one of the quest that has mutliple stages over time.. forge t the name of it butt in the end of that quest line where her an paimon are talking and paimons asking questions.. sango basically says some thing along the lines of wanting to be the perfect criminal and the commiting the perfect crime... and paimon like "wait what.. ur doing this cause u want to be the ultimate criminal and commit crimes??" lmao "I bet Sango predicted about the whole situation from the start (more or less) from pieces of info she could get her hands on." YES... shes "armchair" so again in story telling aspect that does mean she kinda did know more then she should to figure it all out .. 😂

@@InanisNihil Indeed, normally 'armchair detective' is quite the negative word. Used to describe someone who only point out to others, giving orders without working themselves or acting like a specialist in something without actually having real experiences. However, in Sango's case, it's actually a compliment for her. Which is what I'm referring to by using this term. Since she's aiming to be a genius detective who can solve any cases without actually taking the field herself, this word is the highest compliment she can think of (based on her reaction in previous quests).

Itto is the best for me. I was about to cry so hard when Oni Granny talked about how much she love Itto, but when I read the name of the quest "Rise Up, Golden Soul", I couldn't keep the tears. Itto and Eula are my favourite character quest, the history is deep and bittersweet, but they're both so strong and beautiful. I'm new in the channel, I love how much you enjoy the game, keep it up!

watching this after Perilous trail event, it makes sooo much sense why itto was so mad about xiao sacrificing himself for others and how Itto stepped up to save everyone. This was one of the only quests that I actually played in English dub, all because Max Mittleman's performance as Itto! I keep being reminded of one of his previous roles as Ryuji Sakamoto in Persona 5 which is pretty similar to Itto is some regards. Either way, I'm happy that I did, Max did such a great job portraying him!

I usually refer to the official interactive map that Mihoyo made, but following a farming route guide sounds a lot more helpful. Getting into a specific rhythm and efficient path just makes it feel a lot better.

Well, now we know that sentient puppets are a thing, thanks to Ei, the Raiden Shogun, and Scaramouche, so I've been thinking Katherine is a collection of puppets. Especially since there have been cutscenes where we can see a key hole on her upper back near her neck, in approximately the same place as the Shogun puppet's electro symbol.

Itto's story is definitely one of my favorite. I'm still sad I didn't get itto man, I've been waiting for him even when inazuma was just released (I read his writings on the boards in inazuma city and I instantly like his personality). But itto kinda made way for me to get the geo daddy so I still count it as a win. I will definitely pull for him again if he gets a rerun. I STILL NEED HIM TO SING ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY GDI. Oh and a little trivia you might already know. In japan, there's this event called setsubun to celebrate the first day of spring. People do rituals to drive away the evil spirit. And the ritual is, you guess it. Throwing beans while chanting "Oni wa soto, fuku wa uchi", means "Evil be outside, good luck be inside". As far as my limited knowledge knows, oni is essentially an evil youkai. But there is a tale about a red oni who is really kind and wants to be friends with the humans. That's the basic concept of itto, generally.

I simply love how Paimon calls her 'special move' in JP , 'Super... Paimon... SENPUU !!'. On a more serious note, she invokes that - allegedly - imaginary move quite often (it's even in the Traveler's voicelines in the Profile and now even in the Serenitea Pot). And with one of the ongoing theories about her being the depowered incarnation of Istaroth - the Goddess of TIME and WIND - this is even more suspicious... About Katheryne: yes, she has two idle lines. One is ' - Rebooting - ' and the other one is ' - Error - '. She was believed to be an AI way before we even knew about the technology to build the Puppet and Scaramouche existed... and the whole Adventurer's Guild was born in Snezhnaya...

Takuya's dialogue was pretty a bit confusing but I'm pretty sure it's because he's suicidal. I think he had a lot of baggage from the poor living conditions he grew up with and the fact that they were probably justified as being part of the blue oni's sacrifice. I actually wish he was a playable character cuz I think he's interesting, but also they would have put more effort into his voice acting and writing.

I skipped itto's banner because I wasn't very into geo characters but once I started having difficulties with curtain enemies I changed travellers element to geo and then my fights became easier and since then I have regretting skipping his banner.
