Please help me with the boxing of the corners. They never come out Even. I have to keep redoing them, so the bag is not lopsided. What is the trick to doing them right and easy. Thank you.
@susan10985 жыл бұрын
Margaret Bachmeier OH my goodness I just left a comment with the exact same issues I’m having making this bag. I made one tonight and it’s very uneven. The zipper also doesn’t close right. Please help me too.
@janetmcadamsbailey18744 жыл бұрын
@@margaretbachmeier5299 It might be easier to think of the corner like.........when you fold it to the point, right down the middle seam measure 1/2" down and draw you line across. it is the same as the other method, but instead of trying to keep a 1" on each side,. you just measure Down 1/2" and mark across. maybe that will help.
@sweettrubble46354 жыл бұрын
I knew there had to be a better way of boxing those corners. I made a small bag earlier, same design but from another channel. I got totally flustered when she cut the corners *before* stitching. I like this way much better. I think the key is to use thin lining fabric so those corners aren't too bulky.

I'm starting a small sewing/knitting/needlecraft class for the local community at Hope St, my local social services joint. Needless to say, there isn't much $$$ for fabric, so this tutorial and many others on your channel are a godsend for me as they don't use much fabric and I can source them from scraps from Hope St's op-shop. Indeed, your tutorials are travelling from your place, to my place, and into the hands of the homeless and disenfranchised at Hope St in Woolloomooloo, Sydney Australia - so, thanks a million, Jess! And please keep the scrappy projects coming! ;-)

I just found your channel. Your personality is “stinking cute”, not boring at all and can’t wait to make these little bitty boxie bags! I’ve also just finished your video on making sandwich bags and excited to make them. Thank you!
